thedanzone 2 Posted June 28, 2004 danzone, I accidentally just sent you a board email - if you could forward that to Bernie it would be appreciated! Thanks. perhaps you could just send me another email. That Kaeding guy was 4th on my list, but I didn't know who to drop. Oh well, I was hoping the Maddox thing would allow me to have an extra roster spot, but I should have tried to move him last week.
bigmarc27 24 Posted June 28, 2004 ok, serious note. Can I pick up a dropped player right now, or is it the 24 wait period again?
thedanzone 2 Posted June 28, 2004 ok, serious note. Can I pick up a dropped player right now, or is it the 24 wait period again? 24 hour wait period. Although, some instances where a time screw-up happened, it is okay to pick up a players, i.e. Ind Colts are available now.

whoisjgalt 0 Posted June 29, 2004 A little soon on Watson, weren't you jgalt? Noon Eastern, right?  A dropped player can not be picked up until the following day at 12:00 PM EST. Example, if a player is dropped at 11:59 PM EST on DEC 7th, that player would be available the next day at 12:00 PM EST DEC 8th.

bigmarc27 24 Posted June 29, 2004 Added - Redskins DefenseDropped - James Mungro, RB, IND (I hope that was within all of the rules and whatnot.) Do you think the Skins defense is going to be any good this year? I've had them for both years, but I've never had much production from them. Since they were my backup, I just waived them for K.C. I figure I only need to play them 1 or 2 weeks all year, so I'm hoping for a Dante Hall contribution during those weeks.
Wilzone 0 Posted June 29, 2004 Do you think the Skins defense is going to be any good this year? I've had them for both years, but I've never had much production from them. It's mostly just a homer pickup, but I do think they could be pretty good. The last 2 years under Spurrier has been a disaster and I chalk up a lot of the defense's problems to that; his offense forced the defense to be on the field a lot more than they should have been. They're still going to have trouble on the D-Line but I love the additions of Barrow and Marcus Washington. Also, Sean Taylor should be a stud. I'm thinking I could pick and choose some nice matchups for them this year. With two other so-so defenses, I figured it might be a good idea to add a third to the mix and see which one steps it up this season.

MOLE!! Technically speaking, I traded Peerless before he even took a snap with the team. Therefore, he was not an official member of the team and not a beloved Atlanta sports icon. WINNAH!
