iceblumist610 0 Posted March 17, 2007 I had 4 upsets for Sunday (albeit two of them were 4/5 games), but two of them are already eliminated. I had Creighton and Notre Dame making the Sweet Sixteen. I'll have to just pull for my other six: UT, UF, Wisky, VT, KU, UT.
Fumbleweed 547 Posted March 18, 2007 I look for UNLV to take out Wisconsin tomorrow.......we'll see.
Big Blue 06 195 Posted March 18, 2007 I'm a little too drunk to post all my picks here, but I just hope we get a day of basketball as good as today's games. It seemed like every game came down to it.
ZeroTolerance 584 Posted March 18, 2007 Heeere we go! Racehorse basketball to start the day after some ugly ugly offense in the last game of last night.
Big Blue 06 195 Posted March 18, 2007 Heeere we go! Racehorse basketball to start the day after some ugly ugly offense in the last game of last night. I didn't notice this thread. I will go erase my thread. Tennessee is one of the most fun college b-ball teams to watch. They are like the Phoenix Suns, always looking to run.

ZeroTolerance 584 Posted March 18, 2007 Today I have... Florida, Oregon, Kansas, Va Tech, Texas, Tennessee, Memphis Only game I am out of is UNLV/Wisconsin...obviously I will root for the Rebels as it will negate some of the damage I took by missing the winner of this pod. DBZFan2K 0 Posted March 18, 2007 First time since 1995 that the tournament will have no double-digit seeds in the Sweet 16.
ZeroTolerance 584 Posted March 18, 2007 Alright, not bad. Unimpressive first round (23-9), but I am a Kansas win away from advancing my elite 8 into week 2. 12/16 left in my sweet 16 so I am hanging around.
t.j 35 Posted March 19, 2007 Lost an Elite Eight team with Wisconsin, but still have the rest alive. Have 10/16 Sweet Sixteen teams.
rallo 136 Posted March 19, 2007 man... the lack of upsets threw me off a little this year. That and the hype of the very YOUNG texas team. This is one of those years where the village idiot when it comes to basketball knowledge in your pool wins simply because they pick by numbers... surpises for me... USC=i hadn't seen them play a game all year (besides highlights), but they are a very cohesive unit... impressive wins also both wins were convincing don't count them out next week Creighton... man i was sure the jays were going to beat nevada... i believe i had that picked in every single bracket i put out... i also thought they would match up well against memphis who is playing pretty well right now, even though (like nevada) they hadn't beaten a decent team all year. Thought for sure tolliver and funk could get a couple wins this tourney... after that they would have had it tough against A&M, but if the jays got hot from the perimeter who knows Texas... see above, the past few years young teams have thrived in the tourney (see syracuse and florida) thought for sure texas could get to NC and maybe win... notre dame... now this isn't that i'm surprised that winthrop won... but going into the tourney i thought notre dame could go fairly deep. Bad draw getting winthrop first round... if they would have drawn a george washington or stanford i think they could have made it to the elite 8 in that soft st. louis region... meeting florida i think harangody would have posed some problems for florida... and who knows... catch florida on a bad night and they could have advanced to the final 4. not surprised by... wisc's early exit... i had them losing 2nd round in every bracket... (although most of the time to Ga Tech) too eerily similar to cincy from awhile ago butler looking sharp... i know... they are a 5 seed and it is not a big deal for them to be in the sweet 16, but everyone in america was riding the terp's jock coming into this tournament. Bulter's backcourt is amazing, and they are very experienced and tournament tested... They will have problems with florida's BIGS... a key stat to watch is that butler simply DOES NOT TURN THE BALL OVER... i'm anxious to see if can continue to handle the ball well next week game i'm excited for next week Kansas and so. illinois

But, I guess there are no more easy games at this point anyway.
