Super Cubs 154 Posted May 16, 2007 Biggio needs 34 hits to get to 3000. While Bonds needs 10 HR for the record. Who gets theirs first? I'm pulling for Biggio.
NewbieJr 541 Posted May 16, 2007 Hopefully, it's the same day and ESPN leads with the Biggio story. What a better way for the worldwide leader in sports to show Bonds what they think of his record.

NewbieJr 541 Posted May 16, 2007 In the immortal lyrics of the group Color Me Badd: Dream On, Dream away........ It would be awesome if someone like Willie Mays or Mike Tyson would die on the same evening as Bonds breaking the record. (Not the fact that the guy actually died, but the fact that the record would get even less interest than it's already garnering). :praying:
kilroy69 1,247 Posted May 16, 2007 The only time I will ever root for bonds is if he is on the ledge of a building getting ready to jump.

Sort of like when Rickey Henderson broke the stolen base record, but Nolan Ryan threw his eighth no-hitter that same night?
