Got stuck behind a school bus this morning

Recommended Posts

Got stuck behind a school bus this morning on the way to work on a 3-4 mile stretch of 2-lane.

I swear the focking thing stopped every quarter mile to pick up kids. Can they not combine some of the stops at greater distances? If you're waiting at your bus stop and you can see the kids at the next stop, then the stops are too close together. And these were high school kids, so their pimply asses need the exercise. I remember when I was in school I had to walk a fair distance to the bus stop. Some kids' parents probably made a stink about how their brats shouldn't have to hoof it more than 100 or so yards to catch the bus.

There was a backup of cars behind the bus as far as I could see. It added about 20 minutes to my commute this morning. :D

   :(

Not yet. Next week, I think

Safety first. Leave for work earlier. Sounds like you're the lazy one.

The bus was late. I leave at the same time every day.

Don't be such a pussie. Force that bus off the road and into a ravine. Just imagine how satisfying it will be as you press down on your gas pedal and watch the explosion in your rear view mirror followed by little kids running around completely covered in flames.

Well, you could always walk to work, but then you'd face the prospect of possibly having to fend off a grizzly bear w/your three-ring binder.

We had a dishwasher, but I had to walk that same 10 miles, but it was uphill - both ways.

At least you had feet. We had to do it without feet.
