RicemanX 20 Posted August 11, 2007 I ....RicemanX...decided NOT to purchase Madden 08 this year. After buying Madden every year since 2000, I realized that this game has NOT changed. Unless I bought a PS3 or 360, the graphics are not going to change. The gameplay is pretty much the same. So I am basically paying 50 bucks for an updated roster.... Maybe in a few months when I can pick this up on ebay for 30 bucks, I will, but for now, I'll stick with NCAA 2008. WHO'S COMING WITH ME?!?!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Me_2006 14 Posted August 11, 2007 NCAA 08 is pretty awesome, but I only use it to hold me over until Madden comes out. I think what's frustrating this year is knowing I haven't upgraded to a PS3 yet, so I'm not REALLY getting Madden. With all that said, I'll still buy it later this week. Rookies and updated rosters, along with some new features here and there always drag me in. I semi-regret buying it a few weeks after purchase, but Madden 07 is currently in front of me on my PS2, still being played a full year after I bought it. It's the only game I can really say that about, so I'll keep plugging away for Madden, especially with the backwards compatibility of the PS3 now. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Yeah, looks like I'm waiting til Christmas for mine. Less than a week before they dropped price, I bought a new Sidekick with a big chunk of the cash that would be going towards a PS3 if I had known they were going to lower prices. I still just won't be able to resist Madden when it drops. I said I wasn't going to buy it last year, and did. So I might as well just plan on buying this years version too. I'm sort of glad I'm waiting, because I want to see how PS3 (or if 360) fixes alot of the horrible gameplay that was in last years 360 version. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

itsbigmoni 1 Posted August 13, 2007 Not sure how it is for ps2 or the regular box, but i think almost all 360 fans will buy the new one, unless they were so mad at last years game they said fock madden. I go to ign.com for most of my video game stuff and they had the same complaints as i did with 07. But, when going over 08, they said they fixed so much of that ######. I'm gonna buy it.
