Well first off, I don't know the bye week situation with your starting RB's. But if there is no conflict I would jump on this trade. You would start Smitty, RW and Walker as your WR's basically each week. That's scary. Plus your other starters are solid. Nice looking team there.
Razin 0 Posted August 25, 2007 in my mind, you are giving up 2 solid rbs in order to merely upgrade from andre johnson to steve smith. i dont think thats smart. andre is good enough to trust. and i dont think walker should be your #2 wr. andre is more talented and i think he'll do better this yr in fantasy. keep your rb depth. m bell is a waste of a handcuff. if you draft henry you are taking him to be a full-time rb. if he can't go, then shanny isnt going to make m bell a full-time rb. he'll merely spread it around a lot. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=281658
Razin 0 Posted August 25, 2007 P.S. you dont need a WR improvement. what you need is a better TE. watson isnt going to get much of anything now that NE is crowded with WR talent. trade an RB like mcalister to acquire someone better.
MTSkiBum 1,626 Posted August 25, 2007 I dont like this trade, for 1 Sapp is the handcuff you need, I own Henry in a dynasty league that doesnt allow very many backup RB's and so i have done lots of research into this situation, and while it is a crap shoot(50/50 as of now) it looks like bell is going to miss the first 3-4 weeks of the season, and plus Sapp has looked better than Bell ever has. Plus you are giving up too much even if Bell was healthy and was the handcuff.
WoodDuck2003 0 Posted August 25, 2007 You are giving to much and Bell is not the cuff. S.Smith would be nice but not what you are giving for him. I would stand pat or maybe try to deal Taylor/Johnson for an upgrade at WR. You certainly need another TE or trade to upgrade. I would rather have Olsen or Daniels than Watson this season. JMO Good Luck and thanks for seeing mine.
thanksveterans 0 Posted August 25, 2007 I wouldn't make that trade. Your WR's are solid and you will get better offer's during the season or make a better offer during the season. The inconsistency of Carolina scares me away from S. Smith...stick with your team, let the other owners sweat a little and then move on a more favorable trade. See mine and reply...thanks http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=281521
