Groundhog 24 Posted September 6, 2007 12-team keeper league (but players drafted in rds 1-3 not eligible to be kept next year) 1 pt per 20 yds rush/rec, 1 pt per 50 yds pass 6 pts rush/rec TDs, 4 pts pass TDs start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D. QB: Young, Hasselbeck RB: LT, Maroney (traded up in the draft), Kevin Jones, Leonard, Chris Henry WR: Fitzgerald, Stallworth, Henderson, Muhammad TE: Cooley, Scheffler K: Akers D: Steelers, Packers How'd I do? Obviously I'm set at RB, but the trade hurt my depth there, and WR feels a little iffy after Fitz. Also some arsehole took Turner in the 10th rd (I had planned to take him at the end of the 10th) which in retrospect I prolly should have seen coming since it's a keeper league and he'll be playing elsewhere next year. jared7683 0 Posted September 6, 2007 you are good at RB, but i dislike your recievers a lot...Fitz has to stay healthy for me to consider him an "elite" WR...after him, it goes downhill from there...i'd package up a WR2 and RB2 and see if you can get a deep sleeper like V. Jackson or Deion Branch... see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=284663
rottytiny 7 Posted September 6, 2007 RBS are a thing of beauty, nice job. I would try to package a Wr and YOung for a decent #2 WR, Haselback will be fine for you, maybe someone loves Young and you can get a nice WR in return. Not sure Branch and Jackson are deep sleepers, so if thats who your after you won't be able to steal them, I don't think so anyway. Good luck.
SmilenJack 0 Posted September 6, 2007 I would follow the other guys advice, try and move Young and wide reciever for an upgrade, I would also wonder who is on the waiver wire for both QB's and WR's might be a pot of gold out there.
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted September 6, 2007 Your RB corp is great, but I don't like you depth at the WR position. I don't think Stallworth will be a fantasy force this year with NE. Henderson had a hanstring problem in the preseason, right? So, this kind of injury tends to linger for the whole season. Mushin is already on the decline. You will need to keep your eyes on the waiver wire all season long for a good WR or two.. Does your league give points for returning punts of kick offs? If so, you might want to consider Jacoby Jones (HOU) or Tedd Ginn (MIA). James Jones (GB) is another good choice. THanks for helping with mine.
LunaTick 30 Posted September 7, 2007 Concerns I have is 1. Tennessee offense. If Young can toss 1 a week and run for another. The resulting yards may make him a starter. But can you start him week 1. If you have faith, that is your call. 2. RB starting looks good. But depth? Two of these appear to be dynasty picks. And kevin jones if healthy has to hope others havn't assumed the role http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true BTW I have T Bell, on deep bench, so... 3. wrs I think are not as bad as all others have said. other than the typical concern of spreading the wealth in NE. But at this point in the season, you have the best target on your roster. 4. Te's are not that valuable here. So if you find yourself with a dud, you can always pickup another....... 5. Like the kicker, but I like 2 kickers than 2 TEs. not knowledgable on def, but I like Steelers HC. Wish Vikes would have fired childress. But current ownership appear to be operating a model to force a move and not a sb ring. see class action lawsuit in their horizon (too many lawyers in mn)
