When was the last time you made a chicken pot pie?

Recommended Posts

I honestly can't remember, maybe, 3 years ago. In todays day and age with "need it right now" who has the time to cook something for an hour if it's not a turkey?

Mrs. Bud's are really good and they can be microwaved. You don't find them in the frozen section.

I try not to microwave anything, it never tastes good.

Some things are better in the microwave. Bacon is a classic example.

Bacon is best on the grill.

Read the Stouffer's one

My wife made me one for lunch one time and as I was about to dig in, she read the info. She immediately called our insurance agent and upped the policy

My wife makes 'em from scratch about once a month. They focking blow away the store-bought kind.

Mmmm... I'll bet they do. Been wanting to try to make from scratch too. In the meantime, Marie Calendar's makes a good one. Loaded with fat, though.

With that said, last time I had one was last fall. Chicken pot pies make a perfect comfort food on a cold night. :Mr-T:
