darrenhdrider 0 Posted September 9, 2007 I have Hasselbeck penciled in right now but having second thoughts. I have a feeling Alexander will pound the rock all day thus lessening Matts numbers. Plus Farve will be behind forcing him to throw...but are his WRs too banged up? Who has the better day...Farve or Hass? Also, Farve has been hiostorically bad against Andy Reid..... Leave a link..... Buck Naked 0 Posted September 9, 2007 I would go Farve but I have him on my team so take that for what it is. I am in an auction league and was shocked at how much more Hasselbeck went for than Farve. I think TB will be better than advertised, and while SEA will win the game they will run the ball a lot, like you said. Farve has a tough matchup but he generally gets his, and as this is your #2 QB I would start Farve and feel pretty good about it. Take a look at mine, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=285191
Buck Naked 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Hey I just noticed you also have SA so I would go farve for sure in that case.
sd1973 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Go with your first instinct on Hass. I'm not sure you're gonna lose many points between the 2 anyway... in other words, you're safe. Mine? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=285490
alldayarbymojo 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Favre at home is better than Hass at home by a slight margin. Jennings is banged up, but Driver could play. Rookie James Jones has lit a new fire under Favre's butt. He thinks he has Sterling Sharpe again. Plus, GB will prolly be behind like you said. They will have to pass. Hass has weapons, but I agree with you. They could be up on TB and run all day instead of pass.
montana 89 Posted September 9, 2007 if you get minus points for int's, go hass all day long. favre playing from behind, with banged up wrs, a rookie rb & has thrown like an avg. of 1.5 ints on opening day the last 3 years? not good. hass & the hawks should win pretty easily, & yes alexander will have 100+ & multiple tds (IMO) - but i'd rather start hass over favre just about any day. dont forget that before alexander got hurt, he caught his fair share of balls outta the backfield. those add up too. rocket1012 0 Posted September 9, 2007 I'd go with Hass. He has the healthy recievers that'll set things up for Alexander. Too many WR questions in GB.
Buck Naked 0 Posted September 9, 2007 I understand what alot of the above guys are saying, but if youa re playing SA, I think you could get more from Farve, as he will likely lead his team in fantasy points, and Hass may not be required to do much else besides handoff. I could see him with a nice, 200 yard 1 TD day where Farve might throw 2 picks and 3 TDs, esp if he gets a cheap one late, which he often does since he pretty much grinds until the end. Why Me? 1 Posted September 9, 2007 I'd still play Hass. He'll still put up solid numbers. Thanks for seeing mine.

2GQ 0 Posted September 9, 2007 I'd go with Hass. Favre is working with a rookie RB whose blocking skills are in question and a WR corp that is injured. He could get pounded or try to win the game by himself, thus making him prone to INTs. Hass has a more favorable matchup IMO.
