joeciulla 0 Posted September 13, 2007 Addai is a nice choice. I really wouldn't be so fast to give up on Jackson so quickly though. He will still get his points this year, but Addai will do well too. I would not trade him for Gore or LJ though. Please help me.
ThatGuy25 0 Posted September 13, 2007 I think you should hang on to S-Jax. You picked the right guy if you do want to trade him. I would only trade him for LT or Addai, if at all. Certainly not for Gore or Alexander. But I don't think I'd pull the trigger on that. S-Jax should be a stud this year against some weak defenses and he is very durable. He's also proven as a feature back, while Addai is in his first year of it.
cdavidw 0 Posted September 13, 2007 I won my league last year because of Steven Jackson. He averaged (in my league) 37 points the last four weeks of the season - and I cruised through. I think it would be very unwise to unload him this early.
Saints1 4 Posted September 13, 2007 I would hold onto SJax. If you really think you could get Addai for him I might would but as stated before Addai or LT only. No one else for Jackson.
bigdev 0 Posted September 13, 2007 no O-line concerns?
nategraduates 0 Posted September 13, 2007 Still a stud, he will find a way to rack up the yardage.
bigdev 0 Posted September 17, 2007 And now, is he still a stud? Can i get addai?
dalie 2 Posted September 17, 2007 IMO SJax will have to have a good game first to maybe get Addai straight up, if I had Addai I would be gun shy to trade him straight up for SJax with his 1st 2 games. But the Addai owner might see big things for SJax still, it's worth a shot if you'd prefer Addia....worst that would happen is reject or he counters. Melvinbet 5 Posted September 17, 2007 And now, is he still a stud? Can i get addai? Pop up his stats for previous years and see the slow starts. Normal. Did you happen to notice how many carries he got the entire preseason this year? He's still getting into football shape. I have him and have not played him yet....but I will. ugadawgs97 0 Posted September 17, 2007 I think Addai is a great back, but he too has a major drawback that hasn't surfaced yet this year. I had Edge a few years ago and always got really pissed when Indy had 1st and goal on the 3 yard line and Peyton would pass to Harrison, Wayne, or Dallas Clark instead of handing it off. I know it hasn't happened yet this year, but it will and it will often. Just consider that before getting Addai. Addai will be a great yardage back though. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=288184
nategraduates 0 Posted September 17, 2007 I don't know if I would unload Steven Jackson for just Addai straight up, especially when S-Jax's value is this low. I got lucky and moved him and J.P Losman off my team for Willie Parker and Brett Favre, if you could get someone along the lines of Westbrook, Rudi, Parker, or someone close to Steven Jackson's realistic projection (1700 total yards 12-14 TD?) who can put up the stats that will probably be close to Jackson's and then upgrade in a position like I did QB, then you should do it. But you don't really get anything if you trade for Addai straight up, S-Jax can only get better from here.

His first 2 games look better than Steve Jax's first two. So i am not buying that football shape in this case.
