Seattle isnt the only team pumping in fake crowd noise

Recommended Posts

Show me proof about Seattle. I was a season ticket holder for 5 years until moved to Socal last year and never heard it coming through speaker that were close to my seats. Just because the Giants couldnt handle a crowd going nuts doesnt mean they were pumping noise through speakers. Matter a fact I've been to games louder than that giants game.

Marvin Lewis is now claiming that the crowd noise was so loud at Seattle yesterday that it literally vibrated the football out of the kick returner's hand late in the game.

Ok, I can't - that was just hearsay and I cannot back it up, you got me on that.

did you notice who won yesterday? I don't see how the Giants didn't handle it...

I posted this because it is against league rules. If the Pats get their ass kicked by Goodell for a rules violation, then teams that do this should be punished also.

A variety of New York Giants loyalists that attended last night’s game at FedEx field have stated the Washington Redskins were pumping fake crowd noise through their P.A. system. Now, since they were Giants fans that had to be taken with a grain of salt. However, it appears that they were not alone in witnessing this truly “bush league” tactic.

“I am disappointed, in fact shocked, that we PIPE CROWD NOISE IN. I don’t how long that has been going on, but I think that is BUSH LEAGUE. Don’t tell me that it didn’t happen, it did. I am embarassed that my team has stooped to that level,” wrote a Redskins fans on extremeskins.com

“Heard it last night a LOT. We have been piping in noise the last two seasons. It is SAD. I was directly under a speaker, and it was clearly happening,” another fan wrote.

These fans were later joined by many who admitted they noticed the fake crowd noise as well. Each of them went on to express their disappointment in the team, and acknowledged that it is against NFL rules and will likely draw some league attention.

While I am not overly familiar with the penalty, I am aware that this is against NFL rules. And making matters worse, a handful of ‘Skins fans also admitted that this went on against the Miami Dolphins in week one. That’s pretty bad when you have 91,000+ fans in attendance.

I was at the game and pointed out how the crowd was so loud, but if you looked around there just weren't very many people making noise. So, I have very little doubt this accusation is true. It did appear to effect the Giants as well. Eli had trouble a couple times communicating audibles.

Yup, and you would think that CJ would learn to keep his mouth shut! He was calling out the Seattle fans earlier in the week saying they weren't that loud and the 12th man in Seattle was nothing to worry about.

I know that Seattle is loud, but I don't think I have ever heard them as loud as they were Sunday!

Way to go boys!!! :music_guitarred:

The NFL sent representatives to Qwest Field twice either last year or the year before to investigate these claims. They found nothing...
