Big Blue 06 195 Posted September 29, 2007 I would rather the Angels win a couple and Cleveland lose the last couple. Sox Indians Angels spankees I like the way that looks Congrats to the Red Sox and their fans; now the real season can begin. This is going to set up as well as it can for the Yankees. All 3 opponents would be tough, but if I had a choice, I'd take Cleveland. The Angels own the Yankees and the Sox have so much history that I feel so much safer playing against the Indians. DBZFan2K 0 Posted September 29, 2007 Last time the Yankees didn't make the playoffs? DAN DUQUETTE WAS THE GM OF THE RED SOX! The only year Duquette was GM of the Red Sox, and the Yankees didn't make the playoffs...was 1994, when there was a strike and nobody made the playoffs. Since 1995, the Yankees have been to the playoffs every year, and this is only the third time that they've got in as a wildcard.
