This Year's Addition to Most Annoying "Sports-isms" is...

Recommended Posts

"Threw the 'Pick-6'" :pointstosky:

Add this to the list of manufactured "sportsisms" that I will never use. Previous entries include:

(Baseball)

- He went yard! - FOCK you. He hit a home-run. He didn't "go yard." If you use this term, you're an assbag.

- He hit a walk-off home-run - FOCK you. He did not hit a "walk-off" home-run, nor did he hit any other "walk-off" anything. It is and will always be a "game-winner." If you use this term, you're an assbag.

Now, I don't know what douchebags are responsible for creating these terms, but if you use the phrase ...threw a pick-6 to describe a interception thrown by a QB which is returned for a touchdown... like the quarterback is out there tossing lottery tickets, you're focking douchebaggage at the highest level of doucheness.

Feel free to add to the list, any sport, of annoying manufactured "sports-isms."

Focking pick-6. :headbanger:

I got no problem with the term pick-6. It's a lot simpler than saying "interception return for a touchdown".

As for the other terms...screw baseball. Who gives a rat's ass.

I will admit that I've used 'pick 6' before. But since it's been placed on the the banzored list, I vow never to say it again.

BTW, you see that pick Romo threw?! Defense took it to yard! :pointstosky:

What's wrong w/ "Pick 6"? :wall: It's short & precise.

As for the others, I quit watching baseball after the first strike.

Two dumb ones that have become popular over the last few years:

> The team likes getting him the ball IN SPACE...

> He's a HIGH MOTOR GUY

If I hear the Pats say "Humble pie" one more focking time....so help me....I'll stab them in the eye with the fork they're using to eat the damn thing with.

Also, 110 percent is kind of old and boring.

as is anything Dick Vitale says.

Pick six in itself is not bad, but the over-use of it has made it annoying.

I think the OP is an ass hat. Or an ass clown. I suppose it's possible he's an ass bag though. :overhead:

Guest _my_2_cents_

uh, we said pick six in peewee football when I was a kid. There's nothing wrong with it. It's not thier fault that Romo threw so many. :D

I don't give a fock what people call sh¡t becasue I'm not a crybaby douche. By the way, you guys should start crying about the term "Pressing," as in "Drew Brees throws 5 pick 6's a game because he's pressing." That way you can get a jump on all the other crybaby douchebags and cry over how you were crying about it first.

"Quarterback"

and "onside kick"

I mean seriously, wtf.

Then again, maybe this thread just sucks.
