dalie 2 Posted October 11, 2007 SA vs NO MJD vs Hou Jacobs @ Atl Ward @ Atl Morris @ Dal Buckhalter @ NYJ (only if Westbrook doesn't play...I think he's supposed to) Which THREE of the above RB's would you start in a PPR league? I am leaning towards the top 3, but Morris has done well this year (even when Maroney was in), if Maroney is out I think I would have to put him in somewhere for sure. Leave a link..... I agree with your 3 as well, sounds like westy is in, jacobs should see more action then ward and I think your top 3 all have a better chance of finding the endzone over morris against DAL. Seems like all of NE TD's come from 5-20 yards out.
idiotec 31 Posted October 11, 2007 I agree with SA and Jacobs. I am torn between Morris and MJD. I would lean torwards Morris. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=295169
AHill84006 0 Posted October 11, 2007 I would say SA, Jacobs, and MJD. Morris would be an ok play if Maroney is not playing........... Thanks for mine....

I really like Morris if Maroney is out but it's a 5:15 start. Knowing Belichick I don't think we'll know if Maroney is playing or not until just before kickoff. Buckhalter would be my next choice is Westy was out, but I'm pretty sure Westy is good to go. Freddy Taylor is banged up and that matchup is so nice for MJD. I think you'd be better off playing it safe and rolling with SA, MJD, and Jacobs then rolling the dice with Morris. Good luck and thanks for mine!
Beef Ravioli 0 Posted October 12, 2007 I definitley think you should play the top three. If I were to budge at all it would be with Morris, if it looks like Maroney may not play. MJD still is trading carries as well as Jacobs, but I think Jacobs will be the main man. SA / Jacobs / MJD Thanks for mine
dalie 2 Posted October 12, 2007 If I put Morris in...who should I replace?
Cal_Fan_AG 0 Posted October 13, 2007 Thanks for mine. I know MJD finally got it going last week, but until he starts showing he can break runs consistently, I'd sit him. Also, this Houston defense is pretty good. I expect them to be amped for this divisional game. Even if Maroney plays, I expect Morris to put up solid numbers anyway. When Maroney was the stater Morris was getting all the goal line looks, which you can absolutely count on continuing with Belichick's "injuries happen on the goal line" theory because Maroney seems to be made out of paper mache. With that said, the thing I've been hearing most this week is how you beat Atl with the run, not the pass. If Ward were completely healthy I'd give thought to having two rbs from the same team in your lineup. Since he's not, go with Alexander (who I would look to trade after this week actually - his numbers have not been great), Morris, and Jacobs. To summarize, start: Alexander, Jacobs, Morris
