yanko 11 Posted October 21, 2007 Their frustration brings me much joy. So far this has been by FAR the most fun season to be a Patriots fan, and there's a lot more football to be played. It gets better every week. Well hopefully it ends on a horrible call by the refs that costs the Patriots a playoff game or better yet they repeat that choke job they did last year. The haters tried to stick an asterick and taint on your 3 rings and you are sticking it back in their faces and will produce a 16-0 season and Brady WILL pass Manning for the passing TD record. You can say cheat this or karma that, but chances are if you're rooting against the Patriots this season you're not going to like what you see when you look at the final score. But even if Brady doesn't throw that pick, who's to say the Patriots are going to punch it in right than anyway? The Patriots were already trailing when both of those turnovers occurred. And to answer your question, I've been a Pats fan my whole life. I was born in '77, and my father was always a Pats fan, so I grew up watching em. The first Pats game I went to was a 6-0 loss to the Jets in '92 in a torrential downpour. Michael Timpson fumbled inside the 5 late in the 4th quarter on what could've been the game winning TD... Bottom line, the 3 superbowls the Pats won, were won by a combined 9 POINTS! They cheated just enough to put them over the top. It's week 7. but nothing I will say will stop the madness of Superbowl game/set/match it's over. did you just start watching football? this has been going on since '01. they are the dynasty of this decade and they are currently better than they've been at any point during this dominance and their foreseeable future is quite bright. nobody has handed them this year's Lombardi or next year's or the year after's. But they are killing everyone right now and with boatloads of young talent and a healthy salary cap, their team will continue to be a contender for years to come. you don't have to like it. in fact, they like that you don't like it. but you're going to have to learn to deal with it for a little while longer. Eventually NE will be an also-ran in the NFL, but it may take another 5 years.
