RB and WR help, for tonight!

Recommended Posts

ok, round 2 of my playoffs, need some starters. my biggest concern right now is sitting players for teams who are already in playoffs (i.e. indy colts).

RB (pick 2):

steven jackson vs. pit

brandon jacobs @ buf

aaron stecker vs. phi

jerious norwood @ ari

WR (pick 3):

hines ward @ stl

plaxico burress @ buf

reggie wayne vs. hou

brandon stokley @ sd (may not play)

anthony gonzalez vs. hou

so i'm leaning toward jackson, jacobs, ward, burress, and wayne, but i'm worried about Pit's Rush defense first and dungy benching Wayne and/or Gonzalez?

leave a link. thanks!

I think you have it right. SJ over stecker is the only choice I had to think about. With Bush potential being back in a limited roll worries me about stecker thats why I give SJ the nod.

Without a doubt I would use Jackson. And I think I would go with Jacobs as my second choice slightly over stecker.

WR-Ward-Wayne(I just couldn't bring myself to bench him)-and burress

You have to start Jacobs this week as that game will be horrible weather and run run run with Jacobs. I find it too hard to bench Jax but I think Stecker will have a nice game this weekend. If you get PPR then I would consider stecker a little more then I do but either way I dont think you can bench Jax. I had similar decision and have to start Jax.

WR (pick 3):

hines ward @ stl

plaxico burress @ buf

Wow some more tough decisions. If the rams can stay in the game then Ward is a good option as no weather issues. The rest is tough. I HATE thats right HATE plaxico this weekend and have benched him in my championship game. Eli sux in bad weather and that is what u will get this weekend. I also dont like starting 2 guys on the same team so you have a tough choice here. Can u really bench Wayne? I think not... So you have to go Ward, Wayne and either Gonz or Burress. Since you probably dont want to start 2 Colts you may have to go with Burress but I dont see much from him this weekend. If houston can give Indy a game which they normally do then both Indy WR's could be in for a good game. Tough call...

Good luck,

Eb

Im going out on a limb here and saying:

Norwood & Jacobs

I love taking gambles during the playoffs, and Norwood is a nice gamble. He is due!!!!

wr's I do not even have to list - start the 1st 3 you listed.

I would rank them as follows

Jacobs - getting all carries, but doesnt score

Jax - starting to show why he was a top selection

Stecker - Bush maybe will cut into playing time

Norwood - to unstable, but could be a sleeper

Wayne - I would not be oppossed to starting both Colt WRs

Ward - Big Bens favorite

Burress - weather?

Gonzo - close behind Burress (weather could be a factor)

Stokley - not even considered
