As of now, who would you keep?

Recommended Posts

I have 4 slots total. 1 Franchise player, that does not cost a draft pick to keep, and up to (3) 1 year keepers from draft/waiver wire. They cost you the draft pick in which they were drafted before.

Franchise Player (choose between these 3 - Does not cost a draft pick): LJ, Portis, McGahee

One Year Keepers (Keep 3 of these):

Brandon Marshall (14th rounder) - This one is a no Brainer

Roethlisberger (7th rounder) - Also sort of a no brainer

Bowe - (10th rounder)

Willis McGahee (1st round) - Borderline, may not be worth the cost

Patrick Willis - (10th rounder) - was a monster in our IDP league (1pt per tackle)

Kevin Curtis (7th rounder)

Santana Moss (10th rounder)

I have the 8th pick out of 11 team in a non snake draft.

If I wanted to keep 2 players who had a 10th round keeper price, then I'd have to give up a 9th and a 10th, since I obviously don't have 2 10th round picks.

I'm leaning on keeping the following:

Franchise Player = LJ

1. Marshall

2. Roeth

3. Bowe

I am strongly considering keeping Patrick Willis over Bowe with that last slot. He was worth a lot more than Bowe this year, but I am worried that his tackles were inflated because he spent so much time on the field due to the fact that the offense was so bad. I really don't want to give up my 1st pick for McGahee, but It certainly wouldn't be a bad value considering my draft position.

What would you all do?

I'd do everything the same as you but I'd keep Willis over Bowe. I see no reason that Willis won't be a tackling machine in SF for a long time. What makes you think SF offense is going to improve much? I don't see it. While Bowe has a lot of talent, who is throwing him the ball in KC? I'd keep LJ, Marshall, Big Ben, and P.Willis.
