Favre.......

Recommended Posts

been tryin to not pay attention to this favre crap, but IT'S EVERYWHERE!!

it's really getting annoying. it's taking up way too much airtime.

i dont know the details, other than it seems like favre has been very wishy washy with his retirement/comeback. and he's naive to think GB will just release him. he's acting like a little kid that not getting what he wants. brett this is a business, HELLO! i cant wait until the season starts and no one gives a shite (except favre, rodgers, and the packer nation) about this.

Did you remove Favre's schlong from your mouth when you posted that, homer?

Now Favre calls Ted Thompson a liar.....focking hilarious. This is great entertainment seeing the fudgepacker fans getting their hearts broken by their drama queen. Favre tells the media he wanted Moss all along and the stupid fudgepacker GM decided not to make that move letting a HOF WR who had 23 TDs last year go somewhere else. You cannot make up the entertainment here. Keep it up Favre.... :wall:

The fudgepackers will get their azzes kicked this year without Favre. And then TT will realize how incompetent he is. And I love it. We own Favre's ass anyway under Lovie.

The only things you "own" are a little stepladder to help you get a better glimpse of your closest competition -- the Detroit Lions -- in the NFC Norris cellar, a certificate congratuling you on the Bears' 4 winning seasons during the last 2 decades, and a scratched and battered vinyl copy of Bruce Springsteen's "Glory Days" that has been inaudible for the last 12 or so years due to overusage...

:dunno:

favre gave him a dream season here and he has let it go to his head..never p1ss off a legend who has done everything he could for the team and city..i love that brett has aired what we all knew about moss..that brett wanted him and TT didnt and completely lied about it...

next weeks stockholder meeting should be juicy...at this rate, TT wont make it long..

wait..people say I have no clue about the city that Ive lived in my entire life if I say that..we shall see :pointstosky:

actually..if TT has the ego and thick skin to be able to lie to everyone and to brett about whats going on..the constant cries for TT to leave wont bother him either...

Favre has no reason to lie about anyhting. Thompson focked him regarding his linemen , totally blew getting Moss , and lied about interviewing Mooch ( granted Mooch woulda sucked anyway ). He even looks like a arrogant scumbag POS..

He has painted his career in a corner - Rodger sis da second coming and the Packers go back to the playoffs and do well. or He is finished and will be forever known as the guy who ended Favre's career and nothing else.

All TT had to do - was say when Favre wanted to come back - OK. Like Favre or not it is BUISNESS - Favre gives you the greatest chance at winning - you are built to win now - no clue what TT is thinking from even that standpoint. TT is so worried he might offend Rodgers a QB that has played 1 half of NFL football - and Rogers might leave? Because of that he risks not having his greatest chance right now?

someone explian how that makes sense?

Hate Favre or not - from a Buisness standpoint how could it make sense to not bring him in to start again?

Yawn...more ignorance from sweetness...even through all this...the Packers will still finish ahead of the Bears.

You mean that HOF WR that had all of 7 receptions, less than 100 yards, and 1 TD in 3 playoff games last year and his team could not get past the Giants either?

That one?

Yup...owned us right into last place in the division behind the Lions. Im sure Brett and the rest of the team lie awake at night because they only got to the NFC title game but if they could have just beat the Bears...that is what really bothers them.

Sounds like a homer who is just bitter now that the drama queen has exposed his franchise's GM & coach as liars and a frauds. :pointstosky:

Umm...not really...the GM has not been proven to be a liar or a fraud.

Fraud? Really?

Nice one.

Oh...and I will take TT and McCarthy over the Bears group any day of the week.

TT has the support of the executive committee at this point...why would he not last long?

Brett gave him a dream season? None of the other players had anything to do with that?

And again...people deciding TT must be lying because Favre said so (or vice versa)...kind of funny. Not sure how much to believe out of either of their mouths right now.

Look...he may have been able to get Wahle to stay...but they were in cap hell when Sherm left as GM...they had no depth and were an aging roster. Cuts had to be made. Rivera was done...he showed that by barely playing much after he left GB. TT's problem was he was not good at replacing guards and did not put enough value in them.

Blew getting Moss...sure...but everyone is acting as if that was a slam dunk...Moss was going to come and be great...when 2...yes 2 entire NFL teams were the only ones showing any interest. And many thought GB was crazy for even talking about it...now in hindsight everyone is calling them idiots...its hilarious.

And remind me what Moss' SB ring looks like? Oh thats right...he could not get the Pats past the Giants either...7 receptions, under 100 yards, 1 TD...that was his playoff total this year.

Its not just as simple as saying...OK Brett. But keep thinking that.

TT is thinking his job is not just to coddle Brett Favre...his job is to build the Green Bay Packers not just for this year but for years to come.

TT's job is to win titles - and they have a team that can contend for one if Brett favre is the QB -- NOT really with Rodgers.

It's Buisness sense -- Packers have a chance to really take a shot - but TT wants to potentially sacrifice that to build a future around a QB that hasn't played a full game yet.. Color how you wanna - He is an idiot for not handing the Job over to Favre to see what He can do one mo seaosn and maybe go toi another superbowl as only the Cowboys and Giants are in league as far as talent goes. Without Favre they IMO finish 2nd in the Norris behind Minny - with favre 1st..

I agree they are both letting their feelings get in the way of this...Mort even seemed to think cooler heads would prevail if the 2 ever just sat down and talked about it.

I am merely disagreeing with the whining from Favre about personnel decisions that are not the job of the starting QB.

And no...he is not an idiot for not just handing the job back to Favre.

He needs to get a bead on what the whole organization thinks as far as how is the best way to move as a team...not just who is the best QB. its not that simple.

laziness of not wanting to capitalize and use punctuation...so I use the ellipses as a poetic license to type how I please.

still say if TT won't cave an take Favre back as a starter within a month - his career at least in GB is finished aftert he seaosn - if Green bay doesn't do really well.
