How valuable are RB

Recommended Posts

I play in a dynasty league(remember youth)

1 point per every 10 yards AND per reception.

6 pt td's across the board.

We start 2 RB's 3 WR's and 1 flex.

I have protected 2 quality RB's.

I find myself in a situation where I can pick either R.Bush or A. Johnson.

I think we all understand the debate about picking quality RBs when you can. In our league Bush is valuable in that he is young and we do give a point per reception. However if I pick him I likely miss out on that first tier of WR's. That said I will have the best RB core in the league.

Any thoughts on who I should pick?

Am I better with 3 quality starting RB's and an average WR core

or

2 quality starting RB's, one average RB. One quality starting WR and 2 average.

THoughts?

Bush. Honestly, you can't have enough quality RBs with injuries coming out of nowhere. One week you will be lighting up your bench, but the next two of your RBs go down. You'll be glad you have that extra RB. Although Bush can be seen as a bit of a disappointment last year, his receptions will only go up.

WRs can be picked up in waiver wires as you go along. Having at least one quality WR is essential however, and it looks like you have that covered.

Good luck!

I would go with Andre Johnson, I think he'll be a top 3 WR this year.

Then again, I could easily make an argument for Bush as well, you simply cannot have enough RB's.

I think that you should take AJ. You'll have a stud backfield AND a stud WR. I think that you'll be able to get another RB with your next pick that will fill out your backfield nicely.
