Bloody Mary

Recommended Posts

I start with the Mr and Mrs T's mix. I add extra celery salt, Tabasco and McCormick Grinders Black, White and Red Pepper to it. The pepper mixture really adds a good kick to it. I also add some olive juice along with the olives and spicy pickles. I'm not a big fan of the celery stalk so I leave that out along with extra Worshire sauce.

What tips/secrets do you have for making a great Bloody Mary? :pointstosky:

I'm going to start my caturday with at least three of them

That's a lot of steps. Usually I'm just trying to cure the hangover with vodka, tomato juice and a dilly bean. Sometimes I'll just drink another beer.

What makes mine so good? The fact that I am blessed with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to drink them. Without those... a bloody mary is useless.

I haven't tried that, can you get it at most bars? Also, is the only difference the clamato vs. mary mix? Everything else looks similar.

You can get it at almost every bar up here in Canada - not sure about the States. As far as I know, the only differences are:

1) Clamato vs. Mary mix

2) Caesar salt ring around the top of the glass (Bloody Maries don't have that, do they?)

Delicious drink and if I have enough of them, I get my veggie intake for the week.

Usually they have the celery salt ring (I'm guessing that's what you meant). I wub me a mary but I find the mix a little too... overpowering, so I usually get a double just to tone it down, even when I don't really want a double.

I've really tried to like these things, but just can't do it. I don't like tomato juice. The only exception is one places Micheladas. Other than that :puke:

I'm going to start my caturday with at least three of them

Using everything you have, but use Absolut Peppar Vodka, and start the Bloody Mary with 1/4 of your glass full of Guinness.

I also start with either the mrs tees or that type.

I put pickles and olives in it and also add some of the pickle and olive juice as well. Makes it wonderful!!!
