Looks like I have to with Orton Out, Palmer Out/Bye, and Garcia Bye.

 

Against a terrible Denver D, I figure I'd give him a chance and see what he does. Call me crazy but I think he may do just fine Thursday night. Anyone else going to give him a go this week?

I'm starting him this week. I too had Orton who is out with an injury. I also had Derek Anderson and was actually looking forward to him playing the Broncos. I have a trade to get McNabb but I have to wait until after next week because the trade would force me to start Rudi Johnson this week (not good). So...im hoping for about 15 points...that would be great.

The only thing that worries me about Quinn is the super short week he has to prepare for his first NFL start. He must feel a ton of pressure right now and the short week and limited practices won't help. However, he'll be pumped up and he's facing a horrible defense at home.

I'm not starting the checkdown King. But PPR league i'm starting Jason Wright over Slaton on a hunch that the RB's will have more catches than the WR's.

Well it goes like this. Drafted Warner and Romo. Romo goes down week 6 and the following week is Warner's Bye. Week 7 is also a double header in our league so I couldn't afford to blow two losses by not starting as QB so I make a trade to the Schaub/Rogers owner for Schaub (who also had a cake schedule while waiting Romo to heal) and gave him Warner. I needed to trade for a good QB who already had their bye week since Romo was not due back until Week 11. So now, Schaub goes down last week and I stilll do not have Romo back this week. I have a good team thus found myself in the 10th waiver order spot and did not get Rosenfels. Not sure I'd use him against BAL anyway and I get Romo back next week so essentially I need a one week fill for now. So now I have totally hijacked this thread in a desperate attempt to get convinced who I should take from Edwards, Hill, Frerotte, Thigpen, Flacco and Quinn.

You should probably consider starting Warner over Romo anyway. Really bad move.

No one wanted Romo since he was out and was not going to do their team any good on the bench for 4 weeks and Warner is one of those guys I somewhow end up with every year and he gets hurt but hasn't happened yet. My trades have not gone so well lately. Traded Lynch and Chad Johnson for Randy Moss and Reggie Bush and Reggie goes down a week later

I hope karma catches up with the guy I traded Warner to and it happens this week early in the game.

Not saying I want Warner injured but tweak a hammy or something.

This owner is not well liked at all in the league either. Everyone wants to see him go down.

I started him in two leagues and I am seeing good things so far. He has a TD already and seems to know how to get the ball to one of the most talented TEs in the NFL. I got paid twice with that Winslow TD in one league. Rise of the Quinn Empire!
