GhostofMeanMachine99 1 Posted January 20, 2009 Taken from Philly.com: Posted on Tue, Jan. 20, 2009 McNabb's Arizona lawn vandalized A source with knowledge of the situation confirmed a report on yahoo.com yesterday that "Go Cards" and similar messages were burned into the front lawn of Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb's home in Chandler, Ariz., at some point last week. The report said that McNabb's wife, Roxie, and his three children were staying at the house, but the source said it was not clear if they were at the home at the time of the incident. The Web site's report said that McNabb took a photo of the damaged lawn and used it as a motivating factor for the NFC title game against the Cardinals. McNabb was not available for comment. According to the report, one of the culprits was identified after leaving a box at the scene with his mailing label attached. - Bob Brookover Stay classy Phoenix. McNabb was so motivated, he kept throwing the ball straight into the ground the whole 1st half.
mzf5c5 0 Posted January 20, 2009 If this happened, it is pretty sad that fans went this far. It is destruction of property and I hope those that did it, pay for their crime.

I have a friend living in Zona, there is quite a few Philthy fans there.

GhostofMeanMachine99 1 Posted January 20, 2009 Let me guess...they painted a goal line on his front lawn and he couldn't get into his house? Almost as funny as the Redskins not getting to the playoffs. I don't have a problem with fans targeting the player. But whent he player isn't even there, and it's his wife and kids only, that's when it becomes troublesome.

Vern357 15 Posted January 20, 2009 Alright, I just gotta say it cause you all seem to be missing it: Ugly wife = Great QB under pressure (Warner) Hot Wife/GF = OK QB under pressure (Hassleback) Smoking Hot Wife/GF = TONY ROMO!!!! I hope Seattles next qb is married to Margret Thatcher and dating Elenore Roosevelt at the same time, those women know how to motivate!!!!

Gabriel Balcavienga 0 Posted January 20, 2009 having attended the game and worn my westbrook jersey i can tell you firsthand that the majority of cardinal fans acted reasonably. however, there were many more a-holes there than i anticipated. when the phillies won the world series, i wasn't calling every fan wearing a Tampa jersey an a-hole, i was merely celebrating my own team's victory. many of the cardinal fans were being jerks to the eagles fans as opposed to simply being happy that their team won. i was actually shocked at much of what i saw, i honestly thought i would've been treated better at giants stadium. every city has jerks i suppose, just like every website. congrats to the mature cards fans in attendance - your team earned it and i wish you well against pittsburgh. You need to realize that we Cards fans are new to this and growing into our role as a relevant team. For 18 years we had as many fans of the opposition, if not more, as we had for Cards, sitting in the pit that is Sun Devil Stadium. Then there is the annual Cowboy game which involved scores of drunken fights. I had my young son at a Cards/Raiders game once, huge dood (300+) in Raiders spiked shoulder pads, the whole getup, is standing next to us in the bathroom. He looks at my son in Cards gear and says, "Cardinal fan, eh?" Me: Him: "Seems like child abuse." Me and others around: Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I'm sure if Warner lived in Philthy, the fans there would have had a prayer vigil and sung kumbaya in his driveway. A man in his late 30's and late 20's pulled a "prank" with diesel fuel, sh!tbrick. Police said Perkins and Hanlon also allegedly poured and lit diesel fuel on McNabb's front yard in the 4100 block of South Purple Sage Drive. The burnt message read: "Go Kurt," and "Go Cards," causing an estimated $2,000 in damage. "When they decided to get diesel fuel out and start damaging the yard, they crossed the line," Chandler police Sgt. Joe Favazzo said. "They thought it would be funny. They were doing it as more of a prank." I'll tell you what: next time I'm out in Scottsdale, I'll stop by your trailer park and spray paint your double wide. It'll be hilarious.
