So this is the only thread we need to post in for this thing. Since Voltaire is on the other side of the planet, it'll be difficult for him to update whose pick it is during the day here; which is when most of us are on. Therefore, if you're a part of this draft, just check in every so often. naomi usually isn't on until later in the day. So cbfalcon, you probably won't be picking until late afternoon. Just a heads up.

FeelingMN 273 Posted April 2, 2009 3 out of the top 10, SCREAMS greatness to me! Although these figures are greater than that which the Mona Lisa was insured for, the comparison does not account for the change in prices due to inflation -- $100 million in 1962 is approximately $670 million in 2006 when adjusted for inflation using the US Consumer Price Index If Picasso would have painted the Mona Lisa, he would have given her triangular titties and a square face..........which actually might have made her a bit more attractive. cbfalcon 827 Posted April 3, 2009 3.2-Bruce Lee-Best action character in a film A freakin' LEGEND! Which movie did Bruce Lee play Bruce Lee in? I thought we had to pick an action character. Not an actor and we get all of his characters.
cbfalcon 827 Posted April 3, 2009 3-4 Sun Tzu - Military Genius Wrote The Art of War. That alone makes him the greatest military strategist.. So far my roster is strong. Head of State - Joseph Stalin Military Genius - Sun Tzu Action Character - John Rambo think about it.
FeelingMN 273 Posted April 3, 2009 Which movie did Bruce Lee play Bruce Lee in?I thought we had to pick an action character. Not an actor and we get all of his characters. Agreed. Since one wasn't declared by TAS, I say we make the decision for him. I vote Kato.
Voltaire 5,491 Posted April 3, 2009 Which movie did Bruce Lee play Bruce Lee in?I thought we had to pick an action character. Not an actor and we get all of his characters. That's a good point. It'll need to be straightened out.
cbfalcon 827 Posted April 3, 2009 Agreed. Since one wasn't declared by TAS, I say we make the decision for him. I vote Kato. I vote for Leon Soo, whom Lee played in 1 episode of Ironside starring Raymond Burr.
kutulu 1,707 Posted April 3, 2009 Best action character in a film I'd guess he'll go with either Lee in Enter The Dragon or Tang Lung in Way of the Dragon.
cbfalcon 827 Posted April 3, 2009 I'd guess he'll go with either Lee in Enter The Dragon or Tang Lung in Way of the Dragon. You can then be a jerk and just take the other Lee character. In fact, I should retract my Rambo pick and we should all take Bruce Lee characters. That would be the Geek way. But alas, I can't turn my back on Rambo the same way his country did. naomi 360 Posted April 3, 2009 3:5 Businessman/Banker/Trader/Merchant - Meyer Amschel Rothschild The first to really make a place for himself in the global finance market. His offspring maintain that place and have just expanded their wealth and overarching influence off the foundation he built. They're not productive so much as controlling, but there's greatness in having secured the ability to have sustained relevance.
TAS 2 Posted April 3, 2009 I suppose I will need to clarify. I assumed Bruce Lee would be all encompassing, but due to him having different names in different movies, I see the need for clarification. Give me a few to think about it. Would somebody actually pick him in a different movie?

TAS 2 Posted April 3, 2009 I am considering him for my Joe Bryant's Secret Love Child position. Which is fine. Would you select him as an action movie character in a seperate movie? I think when taking Bruce Lee, you generally take him for all his movies. Unlike Stallone, where you have Rocky or Rambo. Not that Rocky would be an "action" type guy. TAS 2 Posted April 3, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhB1wy6gbQQ...feature=related You folks can decide which movie. The technical crap doesn't matter. If somebody else wants him from a different/better movie, go for it.

Unlike Stallone, where you have Rocky or Rambo. Not that Rocky would be an "action" type guy. I'd love to have Judge Dredd and Marion Cobretti on my roster. Either would be dominant. But I ultimately decided John Rambo was the #1 action movie character. Did you see all the awards he received for fighting in Nam?
