OK. My thinking was character but fock it. We've combined lots of categories already before we even started, we'll do the same now.

You can take an actor or a character or a character portrayed by multiple actors in different movies. All are fine.

3.8 Queen Elizabeth I - Famous Woman

Elizabeth's 45 year reign was quite prosperous and is largely considered a golden era in English history. She spoke five languages and was widely considered the best educated woman of her era. This was during the age of exploration when Drake and the rest came to America. English drama flourished (the era of Shakespeare and Marlow). She brought religious stability. It was during her reign that England defeated the Spanish Armada and become Europe's dominant nation.

Ghengis Khan - Military Genius

Fock Alexander. Ghengis Khan's empire progression: Animated GIF

Ghengis Khan was the founder, Khan (ruler) and Khagan (emperor) of the Mongol Empire, the largest contiguous empire in history.

He came to power by uniting many of the nomadic tribes of northeast Asia. After founding the Mongol Empire and being proclaimed "Genghis Khan", he started the Mongol invasions and raids of the Kara-Khitan Khanate, Caucasus, Khwarezmid Empire, Western Xia and Jin dynasties. During his life, the Mongol Empire eventually occupied a substantial portion of Central Asia.

I was just thinking the opposite. We should all be highlighting the strong points with all our choices. Unfortunatly I haven't done that yet myself.

I've put a sentence or two about each of my picks as a quote. Wikipedia quotes aren't an attempt at a justification. Just the facts, ma'am.

3.11 Gandhi - Insurgent

Could possibly serve as an Action character too. Don't a lot of Indians ride atop of trains? Plus, the part in the movie where he fights a crocodile with his left hand and a tiger with his right, while surfing on the Ganges is the most exciting part of that film. Which is saying a lot because that film was very exciting.

Not only did he invent the internet, but his personal scientific studies have proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Man Made Global Warming exists, and it will soon kill us all.

4:8 Best action character in a film - James Bond

Think he would fit as action character (haven't seen too many Bond films), international recognition, gets Bond women naturally, suave, can fight with muscle but relies mostly on intelligence.
