gocolts 300 Posted October 25, 2009 Surely Gradkowski can't be as bad as Russell.

BigBlue7 0 Posted October 26, 2009 He doesn't belong on an NFL field. Looks like the Raiders may finally realize this.
All_The_Way 0 Posted October 26, 2009 he looks horrible. But the saddest part is he has all the talent to be a competitive QB.. he ended up on a bad team with no idea of what the hell they are doing. They have no one showing him how to play the game and mold him into an NFL QB.. he will be just another wasted talent.
buffalobillsffl2003 0 Posted October 26, 2009 some teams either destroy quarterbacks or they sucked to begin with or both... the Raiders and Bills come to mind...turnstile quarterbacks year after year... what are Aaron Brooks and Kelly Holcomb up to these days? RoadLizard 73 Posted October 26, 2009 Oh, so by "look at the stats" you actually mean "look at last week's game". Didn't realize your incredibly idiotic statement was based solely on the last 7 days. His original comments are pretty bad but honestly, the NFL and ESPN do seem to desperately want black QBs to succeed and they go out of their way to make excuses for them or to try and sugar coat their "talents. They tried to sell us on Mike Vick and after a few big runs and a few wins they really pumped up the BS. They were ready to put him in the hall of fame. Then...reality set in. It was obvious that Mike couldnt read a defense, throw the ball with any accuracy, or lead an NFL team like a real QB does. So, even without killing dogs, Vick was a piece of garbage and a lousy quarterback. The next "black hope" was Vince Young. It didnt take long for NFL fans to realize that he was a bum too. Of course, the media defended him with religious fervor but even they must have known that the dood was a dumb clown. They still tried to ram him down our throats though. They played the "alls he does is win" card which is what they go to after its obvious that the player sucks(V. Young). Then, the winning stops and the guy gets benched about 2 seasons LATER than he should have. This cycle has been seen with the following quarterbacks where its extremely obvious that they SUCK: - Jason Campbell - JaMarcus Russell - J. Johnson(Tampa Bay) In fairness, McNabb is an excellent QB and I dont have a problem with hi at all. I jst cant stand the NFL and the politically correct, commie-pinko media trying to shove these guys down our throats. Unfortunately, many of the most hyped QBs are black. Thats not their fault, its just the way it is.
PATSSOX 22 Posted October 26, 2009 he couldnt or shouldnt even start in the OLD ARENA league

Jesus ###### christ. No wrong route was even possible on that play. The WR was wide open on about a 5-10 yard crossing route and this dumb POS couldn't even get the ball in they WR's zip code. He threw it right into the trailing defenders gut. Worthless waste of time.

JT 137 Posted October 26, 2009 Your stupidity is impressive. Look at ANY game this fat POS has played in. Man, you are an embarrassment of monumental proportions. JT's football knowledge = ZERO The reference is to McNabb, Doug Williams, Warren Moon, Randall Cunningham... Russell sucks. Incredibly. He never should have been a top draft pick; there was nothing about his college career to indicate he was an NFL QB in the making. He's shown even less in his time in the league. Your initial post indicates a level of stupidity that is rarely seen, even in this place.
unckeyherb 2 Posted October 27, 2009 Fixed. Look at the stats. They all are worthless. McFlabb couldn't even beat the raiders adn he's the best black QB. Watch the suckage of the next great hope, Josh Freeman, this coming week. Watch him suck like I know he does. Soon the experiment is over and WR's on all teams will have value in fantasy football. Wow, ok here ya go, a little primer on some of McFlabb's "worthlessness": -5 NFC Championship Game Appearances -Least-intercepted quarterback per pass attempt of all time, (4303 attempts-90 interceptions, 2.09%) -Third-best touchdown-to-interception ratio of all time, (194-90, 2.16) behind Steve Young (232-107, 2.17) and Tom Brady (197-86, 2.29) -One of six quarterbacks of all time to have over 25,000 passing yards and 3,000 rushing yards (alongside Randall Cunningham, Steve Young, Fran Tarkenton, Steve McNair, and John Elway) -Third-highest winning percentage among active quarterbacks (83-45-1, .647) behind Peyton Manning (119-59-0, .669) and Tom Brady (88-25-0, .779) you sir, are a bafoon. patweisers44 697 Posted October 27, 2009 what are Aaron Brooks and Kelly Holcomb up to these days? not sure about Holcomb, but here's what Brooks is up to: He's been selling t-shirts with his likeness on them
ringotomb 0 Posted October 28, 2009 I guess in this sugar coat world the guy could have said it better but if playing the law of averages id pick white qb than a black one any day. Moon was good but it took him years to develop and given the right conditions JR could become a good qb, I doubt it but anything is possible ( I think he lacks heart). McNabb is a good qb but if you had the option between him or any of his peers Im going dollars to donuts your pickin peyton or brady every time. Black qbs suck and white rbs suck thats just the way it is
XRage 0 Posted October 28, 2009 Lots of really narrow minded racist thinking in this thread. Whether a QB sucks or not has nothing to do with skin color. There are sorry black QBs like Jamarcus Russell and Jason Campbell just like there are sorry white QBs like Trent Edwards and Derek Anderson. Same goes for any other position in football. Its really a shame that some people make sweeping generalizations like this. For the record, Russell is about as unathletic as they come so the original argument really holds no weight. Everyone knows he was the #1 overall pick solely because of his arm strength.
