Third Down Blitz 0 Posted November 16, 2009 The top 10 WR nobody seems to talk about. Wk6 - 6 catches 176 yds Wk7 - 10 catches 136 yds Wk10 - 7 catches 201 yds I think its safe to say that Sidney Rice has finally arrived. The question is can he keep it up or is he the ultimate sell high candidate?
gridiron whirlwinds 10 Posted November 16, 2009 I think that he has arrived and that he is a STUD. Dude catches the ball with his hands really nice....ball never gets on his chest. Large target + great hands + Great run after catch ability = STUD
dcgangstas 41 Posted November 16, 2009 Sidney Rice is clearly now an elite Fantasy WR. He has excellent size and speed. If he had converted some of those long bombs from Favre into TDs, he'd probably be the number 1 WR in FF at this point. He should also be a great target in the red zone, but Visanthe Shiancoe cuts into his end zone targets. But I do think that touchdowns are bound to come for Rice. PsychoBelichickFan 0 Posted November 16, 2009 he straight up won me a game this week with his 200 hundy yards and 20 fantasy points. I locked him up off waivers months ago. dude is a stud. favre's #1 target..
9-Route 0 Posted November 16, 2009 they've definitely broken out the old moss1998 tapes and added the "i'll run really fast and you just heave it" route to the playbook.
Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted November 17, 2009 I've played him this week over Roddy White and he may stay there (depending on matchups) til Matt Ryan shows he wants to throw the deep ball.
enoto 0 Posted November 17, 2009 I had him on the bench this week for Calvin Johnson....CJ was SUPPOSED to do good now that's he's healed and with no Winfield....and nearly lost my match up. Rice is NOW in the starting line up until further notice.
dreadlocks34 0 Posted November 17, 2009 I think the Vikings have more than made up picking this South Carolina receiver after what happened with the one they chose a few years before him. Williamsons 3 seasons here (39 games/22 started): 79-1067-3 Rice this season (9 games/7 started): 44-786-2 For those of you who haven't watched much of him this season, honestly this guy is unbelievably good. Yeah Favre definitely has something to do with it but his hands and ability to make difficult catches in a variety of situations is as good as anyone in the league right now and I am not exaggerating this point. WhiteWonder 2,967 Posted November 17, 2009 i was pimping him in the preseason. unfortunately i drafted him in a few leagues and had to cut him due to injuries before he blew up.

I agree, I have the NFL Sunday Ticket and on mondays I always download the Vikings game on demand, just so i can see what kind of crazy catches Sidney made. From what I hear he is the hardest worker on the team and catches lots of balls after practice. You talk about a player than can go up and get it. Maybe once he starts to score a few TD's....which i think he will.....then maybe he will get his respect...there is no denying his talent.
