Need replacement owner(s)

32 Team League needs to replace 3 owners for 2010. Usually 1-2 owners each year leave (not suprising with 32 teams).

Serious all-year-round league that has a lot of trades take place (in my opinion, the rules necessitate you need to trade).

The league uses Myfantasyleague because that software allowed the 32 team setup.

It's actually two 16 team leagues where each conference champ meets in the Super Bowl (week 16, not 17).

 

First off, it's $250 entry. All money is paid out including (every playoff team gets a payout):

-$50 weekly high score prize

-1st Round Losers = $200 X 4 teams = $800

-2nd Round Losers = $400 X 4 teams = $1600

-Conference Championship Losers = $600 X 2 teams = $1200

-Super Bowl Loser = $1200

-Super Bowl Winner = $2500

 

$100 salary cap. Everyone cuts down to $50 or less by end of May. This brings the heavy trading to retain as much talent as possible under $50.

Online auction then takes place in late August (AFC is separate from NFC...they each have their own player pool..so each player is on an AFC team and NFC team.)

 

Most rules were setup to mimic the NFL (each team is an NFL team...you play the same opponents as your NFL team, etc.)

The Jets, Ravens and Seahawks need to be replaced.

 

Will supply the rosters for anyone interested. It's first come-first serve, but I can say each team has some great pieces in place and some overpriced players that will most likely need to be dropped for the $50 offseason limit and back into the auction.

 

You'd want to jump in quickly and start wheeling and dealing (need to pay before making any transaction) as I did last year when I joined.

The rules do allow a team to re-build very quickly with the $50 offseason cap and some other intricacies.

Scoring is also a little different from any other league I've seen or been a part of (ex. TE's get 1.5 PPR vs the other skill positions which get less).

Weekly waivers are done by blind bidding, so every owner has a shot at any player in both auction and weekly add/drops.

League also has it's own message board.
