swamp dog

nearly half of dipshiat teabaggers pay ZERO federal taxes

Recommended Posts

Then again, we're talking about the loudest, dumbest sub-sect of partisan Republicans, so I don't expect much in the way of logic.

They're a sub-sect? Is there even really a quietest, smartest group that uses logic anymore?

I have no idea what proportion of Republicans are also Teabaggers. Really, they're just like today's mainstream GOP only dumber and more unhinged.

It is worth wondering why they're all PO'd at Obama over high tax rates when he actually lowered their tax burden.

This sums up the retardation of the Tea-Party-Opposition pretty well.

It's not about individual tax burden. A Government collecting taxes from its citizens isn't anything new.

It's how the Government spends that money. Whether the Government is spending tax revenue it hasn't even collected yet, using these funds for unconstitutional new programs or bailing out private industries that deserve to fail, the outrage is about irresponsible policies; not the amount of taxes collected. It's like that b!tch that gave the people cake when they had no food. They don't want any focking cake. They want to know why the fock their country is starving. The Tea Party wants fiscal responsibility back. Something that hasn't been a part of America in a long, long, long, long time...in the people or the Government.

If it's about individual liberties, then I wonder where the Teabaggers were when the federal government was spending trillions of taxpayer dollars engaging us in two wars - one totally unnecessary and both botched - and the Monarch was declaring his right to kidnap, imprison and torture even US citizens in the war on terror? That wasn't worth protesting ... but the very week Obama takes office these blithering morons put on their powdered wigs, draw up a bunch of racist signs and take to the streets.

Thanks a lot for your protest, Johnny on the Spot! Too bad you're about 10 years too late.

Does it matter? No, really, ask yourself that. Does it matter?

And where the hell did I say anything about "Individual Liberties"?

This is the tea party at it's best and the part that I find most appealing.

I don't embrace the welfare state mentality of the Dems. I feel stuck with it. I much prefer this.

I vote for the Dems because both parties support big government and the Dems are the only ones willing to actually pay for sh*t. I'm more angry about two wars (especially the one that was totally pointless) and the Medicare Part D giveaway to drug and insurance companies that aren't paid for but instead taxes are cut to buy off voters allowing the deficit to explode.

Since Dems tax and the GOP borrows, I vote for the taxers. If the GOP ever indicates that they're wiling to cuts spending before or along with cutting taxes, (and get overt the urge to invade/occupy/nation-build some global shithOILe), then I'll take them seriously again.

And this is my problem with the teabaggers. Where the fock were they when The Bushtard was wrecking the country? In the voting booth enabling it all to happen. The only reason they get pissed off now and not then is that the GOP lost the election. Well focking deal with it. The GOP sucks ass.

Really, honestly, the more Bush-era Republican incumbents that enabled Bush to destroy the country that are thrown out and replaced by teabaggers, the better. Anybody responsible for allowing that fiasco to go on deserves to go.

Spending almost 2 trillion dollars in 6 months tends to wake people up.

Taxes are just one thing the Tea Partyers are upset about. If you thought Bush was a tard for racking up the deficit to where it was after 8 years, Obama has doubled that in one and will triple it in two. Spending is what most of the Tea Partyers are upset about. BTW, let's just wait and see if his promise to those making $250,000 is kept. He hasn't kept many of his promises yet, what makes you think he'll keep this one?

From the link:

Like all Americans, most Tea Party members said the economy is the most important political issue, but 21 percent -- twice as many as Americans overall -- named the national deficit and national spending as their top issue

National Debt and National Spending are top issues ... this is why I've pretty much stopped criticizing these people- in many ways, we share the same priorities. If they can force the GOP to be serious about deficits (remember ###### Cheney famously said "deficits don't matter" and the congressional Republicans enthusiastically governed that way) that's what I want.

Are you talking to me?

Anybody with their hand out looking for government money, I have little sympathy for. When that went down, I wanted to buy Jim Bunning a beer.

I just wish he'd have gotten serious about the deficit when he had the power to actually influence/do something about it. Not make a stand now that he's marginalized and expendable. Complaining about the the barn door being open when it was your own fault that the horse escape looks more like grandstanding.

I'm having problems finding transcripts, but you would love what Beck's been going on and on and on about this week. Today he took on Defense Spending (video-not YouTube) and Policy (picture); in the process admitting that he's changed his views on a lot of these issues and stating that he's prepared to lose a lot of friends to support the right things. Was an interesting show today. Yesterday he abolished the Department of Education.

Yes, it does matter. Because if the Teabaggers are just Republicans in disguise - and I seriously suspect most of them are - then they are hypocrites, and their complaints about runaway spending and government intrusion is just a pose.

And of course we are going to pay higher taxes - despite the juvenile, retarded fantasies of the Teabaggers, there is NO OTHER WAY we're going to come close to balancing the ledger and our tax rates are historically fairly low.

Including the first round of TARP and stimulus, Bush's last budget ran about a $1.4 trillion deficit. Obama's was about $1.8 trillion his first year.

Now, I know most Teabaggers barely have a third grade education, but on what planet does 2 times 1.4 come out to be 1.8?

I can only conclude that you've heard this "doubled the deficit" BS so many times on the Glenn Beck show that now it comes out of your drooling mouth without any thought at all.

Sheesh.

Are you really so hung up on the people that are doing the talking that you're willing to ignore what they're talking about? Willing to oppose the movement instead of attempting to guide the movement? If so, then you're the hypocrite. I don't give a sh!t about people. I only care about ideas. This idea is exactly what this Country needs to avoid its demise.

First of all, I'm not a Teabagger, although I would like to drape my nutsack over the bridge of your nose right now. Second of all, the CBO has come up with these figures, not me. Just deal with the fact that he is going make Bush look like a penny pincher and that his government entitlements WILL mean huge tax increases and his spending is unsustainable. Guess I have to copy/paste this from the other thread since you recycle your talking points.

...and holding up misspelled grass-stained signs at tea party rallies.

Source

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- Opponents of the fiscally conservative tea party movement say they plan to infiltrate and dismantle the political group by trying to make its members appear to be racist, homophobic and moronic.

Jason Levin, creator of http://www.crashtheteaparty.org , said Monday the group has 65 leaders in major cities across the country who are trying to recruit members to infiltrate tea party events for April 15 - tax filing day, when tea party groups across the country are planning to gather and protest taxes.

"Every time we have someone on camera saying that Barack Obama isn't an American citizen, we want someone sitting next to him saying, 'That's right, he's an alien from outer space!'" Levin said.

---------------------------------------

It's not a new tactic. I remember Protest Warrior employing similar tactics at Anti-War rallies in the Iraq War hay day. It works pretty well too.

But when you see misspelled or hateful signs, the odds are that it belongs to someone on your side of the fence, dolt.

This is why neither can be trusted. They're both all about spending to buy votes. It's simply that the typical upper-middle/upper-class income earner doesn't support the Ds, so they feel free to tax them directly, whereas thats the typical supporter of the Rs, so they need to indirectly tax, through constant inflation brought on by deficit spending, everyone (instead of just their opponents supporters).

I wish a comet would crash into a joint session of congress. This system cannot be fixed.

EDITED: to fix horrendous typos that rendered it virtually unreadable.
