Evil Genius Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 If anyone has a functional promo code for CBS Fantasy Football, I would love to hear it. If you have one of those $100 discount codes you aren't going to use...I'll buy it off you or trade for it. Seriously. E-mail me at [email protected] with details and I will compensate you Or if you have a smaller discount, post it here.

I'm taking my league to MFL, it's like 45-50 bucks, and it has all the tools you need... Bye bye CBS = more prize money for the playoff teams... It's been real, but I got a new girl now...

Bye bye CBS = more prize money for the playoff teams... It's been real, but I got a new girl now... Did that last year Brad and have no complaints. CBS price just getting ridiculous, if you switch they give you a great deal if you bargain with them - we got our league for only $30 last year. This year now it's going to be $59 or something.
Evil Genius Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 This is the reason you have to work for a discount - full pop is damn ridiculous. Though it is the best site going, they are pushing to find the highest price point they can without chasing all their customers away. Maximizing profit at the expense of the casual fan - sound like something else we are familiar with? I Commish two leagues, and my guys don't like anything else but CBS...so I am looking for a promo code. They're out there.
huskerinct Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Go try myfantasyleague.com They will give you a promotional discount for switching sites. We made the switch last year. I don't think I have ever read any bad press about MFL on here. We all liked the site (12 teams).
sirwinzalot Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 I made the switch last year from CBS to ESPN, major mistake, everyone hated it.

Everyone likes CBS and has no interest in switching to any other site, even when I point out the difference in league fees and payout. Any promo code would be awesome.

Oh but wait if you act fast it's only 149.99... LOL Bye Bye CBS... I got a new girl now, and she's a much cheaper date... MB

Switched to ESPN in one yahoo league also but ESPN is no where near as good as CBS. But i can not justify paying $150 for the dam league. I love CBS but dammmmmmmmmmm If anyone finds promotion code please pass along.
PATSSOX Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 I emailed complaining about the price and this is the only thing they responded with Discussion Thread Response 05/10/2010 12:56 PM The pricing is the same as last season. The best and lowest price that we offer for existing leagues is $149.99 plus a draft kit. I asked why the price is so much????????
browns99 Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 RTSports is awsome and is about half the price. I think if you can prove you are coming from CBS they will give you another 50% off. You cannot go wrong with that. www.rtsports.com
Evil Genius Posted May 15, 2010 Author Posted May 15, 2010 Just a reminder that I am still seeking out promo codes. If you have one (likely from a CBS Baseball referal) that you are not going to use, I will gladly turn it into some cash for you... E-mail me at [email protected]

Evil Genius Posted May 19, 2010 Author Posted May 19, 2010 Found my codes. Referral code program is out there, and gets you a (new) League for $89. The referring person gets $100 at the end of the year, rebate. If you have an existing League that needs renewing, a discount won't help you move all your data. Canadians do not get a referral code to share - but they can use someone else's to get the discount. Now I am thinking: if you're a Commish that runs multiple Leagues, can you refer yourself, pay half price, and get a $100 cheque from the referral program for each duplicate League? Or have two guys in cahoots that refer each other, and essentially, make $10.01 per League, in the long run. I wish I was an American so I could attempt to abuse it ! Friggin CBS.

Or you could join myfantasyleague.com and pay $44. Reg price is $70, but you get a discount for switching from CBS. This is our 2nd yr and if we pay before June 10, it's only $49. mfl is a great site.
WhiteWonder Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 ESPN free leagues. ive used pretty much everything but CBS and can say none of them offered anything that impressed me enough to continue paying for their services. CBS may be different, idk but at that price? Id rather have 150 extra in the pot.

FantasyKing Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Done, and Done... More cash to the playoff teams in 2010... MB ps. So long CBS Did that last year as well and no complaints. What I like the most about MFL is that it doesn't dummy it up for those who take little time to invest in their lineups like CBS. Ohh this player has a hot symbol, has he been doing good maybe i should start him? This site makes you actually read the articles and do the work. And no more stupid guru projections.
Da_Bears Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Done, and Done... More cash to the playoff teams in 2010... MB ps. So long CBS Mad Brad or Huskerinct (OP), This is our 2nd yr at MFL after switching from Fanball (mid-season) and we love it. The renewal email I received and the pricing page at the site, said the discount rate paid by 14 June now (just extended today) is $69.95, 79.95 if pd by 31 Jul, and 89.95 after 1 Aug. So the 69.96 fee reflects the 20 discount. How is your renewal fee only 49? Because if that is what you paid, I need to make some inquiries.

I had misread the originalemail when I posted previously. Sorry for the confusion. Still.....70 bucks is very decent. 12 team league, is less than 6 bucks a guy.

PATSSOX Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Today is the last day to renew your CBS league and save $30 Im gonna bite the bullet and pay once again. The CBS is so much better than yahoo and ESPN. I have not tried myfantasyleague.com but it took alot of talking to get everyone to switch to CBS a few years ago. Dont know if MFL allows you to play 2 games a week but that is my favorite part. Twice as many games and twice the amount of trash talk
PackYourNut Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Bunch of cheap bastards... 150 bucks at CBS is 12.50 a person for a 12 team league or 78 cents per game.
