dain11279 917 Posted May 17, 2010 The only thing I like about the Flyers is Scott Hartnell's playoff beard. That thing is focking fantastic.

edjr 5,444 Posted May 17, 2010 Last night. Flyers won 6-0.  The extra point was blocked   Shocking.  I figured the Habs were going to win easily in the series.
Eagles Green 34 Posted May 17, 2010 Shocking. I figured the Habs were going to win easily in the series. Me too.  This was just 1 game, but the Flyers dominated the Frenchys in every aspect. They seemed soft, especially compared to the Brooonns

buffalobillsffl2003 0 Posted May 19, 2010 That Briere fella is scoring a lot of goals. I hope the TardBots at One Sadbres Drive are happy with that result.
dain11279 917 Posted May 21, 2010 back to earth  Sometimes I'm just amazed by what home ice does. The Flyers just destroyed the Habs the first two games. Montreal had no business even being in this series. Then they get back home and do a complete 180.
Eagles Green 34 Posted May 21, 2010 That was a butt kicking in Frogland. I didn't expect a Flyers sweep and last night's game may help them in the long run. Now they have to get back to full speed and not just go through the motions. Briere and Pronger were awful last night.

He scored once and hit the pipe twice last night.  26 regular season goals in 65 games and 13 in 17 playoff games  in today's NHL, that is incredible. Eagles Green 34 Posted June 1, 2010 cheer up sparky, it's not over yet. Flyers by far have the better beards. This is true. But goalies win playoff serieseseseses. And Anti-dote is looking unreal right now.
edjr 5,444 Posted June 1, 2010 This is true. But goalies win playoff serieseseseses. And Anti-dote is looking unreal right now. Â Â You'd be hard pressed to find a team in the NHL with a better 4 than Gagne, Richards, Carter and Pronger. Â Goalies do help win serieses, but this NHL playoffs, not so much.
