Forgot to post the first issue of the CC/DB Insider Newsletter, sent out two weeks ago to CC/DB customers at that time. Here is the info passed on at that time. A second issue of Insider is in the works and should be out this week.

Hi everyone. First off, welcome to those using the Cheatsheet Compiler & Draft Buddy for the first time, and welcome back to those of you who have been with us since last year, and for many of you, much longer. Thank you for supporting us and letting us do what we do, working on FF Today.com.

Did you know we are celebrating our 10th year of the CC/DB at FF Today? Wow, how time flies. And we are still having the time of our lives, thinking about football, predicting and debating who is going to boom and who is going to bust, eagerly anticipating the start of the NFL season, and drafting our championship fantasy football teams.

This is the first issue of the 2010 CC/DB Insider, with news, updates and things you want to know about your draft software. Let's get to it.

- - New Version 1.1 - -

The first item of business is to let you know there is a new version of the Compiler and Draft Buddy. It seems there was a minor bug in each file (which may not be noticeable depending on your settings), but if you have version 1.0 currently and want the latest and greatest you should download the new versions 1.1.

As an added bonus, 1.1 includes a new feature: optional ADP. Now you can select whether you want standard scoring ADP (which we've always used) or point-per-reception (PPR) ADP. When you download 1.1, go to the adp tab in the Compiler to select which one you want.

Login with your FF Today username and password to download the new version if you like.

- - Live Chat with Mike MacGregor - -

In the interest of us getting to know you better, and providing yet another avenue for you, our valued customers, to get your questions heard and answered, we've scheduled a live online chat event. It is this Thursday July 15th at 9:00pm Eastern. You'll be able to ask questions and get answers from CC/DB developer Mike MacGregor about all things Compiler, Draft Buddy, Projection Pal or even some fantasy questions. The chat will be hosted at FF Today's blog, here

- - Survivor Contest - -

It's FREE to enter for CC/DB customers (like you) and we're giving away $5,000 to the winner. Our point? Join the contest! You can change your pick anytime and as often as you like, right up to the contest entry deadline, opening kickoff on Sunday of Week 1 of the NFL season. To join, login with your FFT username here.

- - Quick Hits - -

* Projection Updates - The last projection update was last week. The next projection update is July 22, at which time we'll go weekly to the start of the season. Check the whole schedule in the pinned 2010 CC/DB post at the CC/DB forum.

* Twitter Updates - Need to be the first to know when the projections are updated for the Compiler, plus breaking news courtesy of FF Today? Join Twitter and follow.

* Facebook Updates - Not on Twitter and/or prefer Facebook? That's cool too. Same updates, different format. Like us on Facebook.

- - Tech Support - -

If you are having trouble with any aspect of the software, don't be afraid to use a lifeline...

* Help Guide & FAQ

* Compiler Forum

* Login Trouble - please include your payment receipt

* Email Support - please include your version of Excel

Okay, that is it for now. If you are drafting soon, then best of luck to you. If you are not drafting until August but still tinkering with projections, rankings and the like, enjoy! It is the best time of year! If you need us, then you know how to find us.

Cheers,

Mike Krueger and Mike MacGregor
