Kam187 6 Posted December 22, 2010 Woodson did a great job and stuffing Welker last week. Does Nicks get the same treatment or do you roll with a guy like Larry Fitzgerald instead?
Stewburtx8 67 Posted December 22, 2010 Woodson did a great job and stuffing Welker last week. Does Nicks get the same treatment or do you roll with a guy like Larry Fitzgerald instead? I'd probably start Larry Fitzgerald. But it has nothing to do with Charles Woodson. Woodson doesn't even matchup on the opposing teams top receiver. He often covers the slot receiver in 3 WR sets, which is why he was on Welker a lot. I think Fitz and Nicks are both top 10 options this week, but I have Fitz a spot or two ahead of Nicks. The better question might be who your other WR's are?

bjsteel 34 Posted December 22, 2010 It's a tough matchup for Nicks either way, Packers are 3rd against the pass, and who knows what the weather will be like in GB. I'm trying to decide between Nicks and Marshall.

surferskin 31 Posted December 23, 2010 Nobody locks down Nicks.
Sho Nuff 720 Posted December 23, 2010 Not sure who will be on Nicks...probably Tramon Williams. As someone said, Woodson is more the slot corner and trying to take away shorter routes and the TE and play in run support. Williams and Shields are the outside corners. deadlyrange0321 0 Posted December 23, 2010 Woodson has been far from a lock down corner this year. He's definitely still living off his reputation from last year. Like previously stated, he doesn't match up with the top wideout from each team, and his cover skills have regressed. With that being said, I'm not a huge fan of Eli Manning, but he'll know he has to get the ball to Nicks often. Expect a line of: 8 catches 105 yards and a TD It's a must win game, Nicks will definitely show up.
