murf74 461 Posted December 23, 2010 I have not seen a single Denver game that I can recall. Is champ still a shutdown corner? How ill Andre Johnson fair against him?
Matt Mueller 148 Posted December 23, 2010 I haven't followed Denver too closely but he blanketed Bowe once this season. That's the game I'd look at. Toss the other one out. AJ is a must start imo so I wouldn't sit him though.

murf74 461 Posted December 23, 2010 Wow, thought this thread would get more attention. I see Denver gives up some passing fantasy points, but do they usually come to the guys not covered by Champ?
lguero1 4 Posted December 23, 2010 Drop Andre and pick up Walter, Jacoby Jones, and Owen Daniels. That sounds silly. Andre will get his.
SNZ11 5 Posted December 24, 2010 This sounds bad for those of us that want AJ to play. ndre Johnson is "trying to do everything he can" to make sure he can play Sunday after an MRI this week revealed further damage to his sprained ankle. The initial sprain was to the front of his ankle, and the new injury is to the back, creating more pain when Johnson tries to run. "It's only so much of it you can numb up, and they can't numb up the joint [with a pain-killing shot]," said Johnson. "And that's what's really starting to bother me pretty bad now ... If it feels good on Sunday, I'll go. If not, then I won't be out there."
SNZ11 5 Posted December 24, 2010 ...and worse According to the Houston Chronicle, there is a "good chance" that Andre Johnson (ankle, questionable) will miss Week 16. Johnson did say he'll base his playing status on how he feels during pre-game warmups Sunday, but he hasn't sounded as optimistic as coach Gary Kubiak. Should Johnson sit out against the Broncos, Jacoby Jones would get the start. Johnson's high ankle sprain has only cost him one game to this point. Fantasy owners should go with early-game options if they are strong plays. Broncos-Texans doesn't start until 4:05 ET Sunday.
