DankNuggs 305 Posted January 3, 2012 Science is a crutch for many weak people; many embrace science for self serving reasons as a source for drawing mental strength to feed their feeble, primative, underdeveloped minds. Envirogods = false idols.
NewbieJr 541 Posted January 3, 2012 Hey Ed and Newbie, what scientific method is this: "Hey, Scientists found a new fish....ergo, God doesn't exist" I never said God doesn't exist. I said that evolution is fact.

KSB2424 3,174 Posted January 3, 2012 Do you remember when you were a teenager and you thought you 'knew it all'? How your parents were stupid and didn't know anything? Yet the older you got, the more educated you became, and the more you learned about life the more you realized how very little you actually know. You finally became smart and wise enough to realize that you really didn't know anything back then, or even now (in the big scheme of things). Every question you answered for yourself only created two more questions. Well the science followers are like those teenagers. They are so conceited enough they actually think they know it all. When nobody really knows and no 'theory' even one that involves a deity should be excluded.
phillybear 366 Posted January 3, 2012 Are you even serious? Have you ever heard of Kitzmiller vs. Dover Area School District? Well, if it involves Delaware, I'm sure someone was making a case for Joe Biden being a missing link to the dodo bird. Science is an opinion that has no place in school outside of a philosophy course.

Bert 1,128 Posted January 3, 2012 Hey genius, your gout medication? Science. Your Diabetes medication? Science. Nice to see you only disapprove of science when it doesn't fit your antiquated agendas. Are these the same scientist that told us eggs, avocados and nuts contained cholesterol and they were going to kill us if we didn't stop eating them only to recant that statement years later when they discovered eggs, avocados and nuts contained "good" cholesterol? Were these the same scientist that prescribed debendox to ease morning sickness only to discover it causes major birth defects? Were these the same scientist that thought bloodletting was the best scientific way to cure illnesses? Those that refuse to acknowledge evolution because their church tells them to are idiots but so are those that think science is never wrong.

Bert 1,128 Posted January 3, 2012 Yeah, I'm about certain it is NOT the same scientists that told us all of the above. Do you have some proof contrary to that? No it is not the same individuals. As a matter of fact, I did not take an aspirin, I took a bus to work, and did not have time to dawdle and watch TV in the wee hours of the morning. But I thank the men of intelligence, mostly religious early men, for having the imagination to invent for man unlike the flock of unimaginative philistine doinks who run preaching debunked science theory and demanding tithes from our hard earned tax dollars. Big Bang? Seriously? Physics shows it's impossible; yet physics is often wrong. Ergo, physicians being blithering idiots proves yet disproves science. My, quite the conundrum. NewbieJr 541 Posted January 3, 2012 . Well the science followers are like those teenagers. They are so conceited enough they actually think they know it all. When nobody really knows and no 'theory' even one that involves a deity should be excluded. So, what you're saying is that all the skeletal remains of apes to neanderthals to cro-magnons to man are actual artifacts, but have no connection? And that Dama and Eve really just appeared, like POOF! Is that what you're saying? And it makes me conceited because I happen to believe the well educated scientists who have show more and more examples of evolution every year? Evolution is fact. It doesn't make me conceited to say that. But it makes you naive and a little unintelligent to pretend it's not.

jerryskids 7,091 Posted January 3, 2012 I guess I'm missing something, but how is this evolution? It sounds like two different black-tip sharks did the "shark dance" and the resulting baby sharks could live in colder waters. I thought evolution was when a species adapted to its environment all on its own.
