MW3 Adding 5 New Prestige Levels

 

You’re finally there. Prestige Level 10. Time to hit that button and reset those stats.

 

Not so fast. An upcoming patch for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Modern Warfare 3 (the patch is already live on the PC) will add five new prestige levels to the game, meaning you’ll now have to reach Prestige Level 15 to hit the reset button.

 

In addition to the new prestige levels, the PC patch includes all of the subtle fixes and updates that the console versions have gotten up to this point. In a rare move by IW/Activision, PC players actually get the new prestige levels first, but Robert Bowling promises that the change will be making its way to the console versions as well.

 

In an even more interesting development, it looks like some dedicated PC gamers have found that the PC version of the game actually includes emblems for 10 new prestige levels (pictured above), not just the five being mentioned here. Does that mean that another five new prestige levels are coming in the future? Probably, though nothing has been announced about them yet.

 

So what say you, fellow gamestas? Do the new levels add to the challenge or is it just going to kill the grind for you?

How many controllers have you broken? Also after breaking the controller you felt the need to cut the game into pieces?

 

After putting a hole in the wall with the remote, I took the game out of the ps3 and bent it and then i cut it into 4 pieces.

 

between black ops and MW3 I have broken at least 6 controllers.

i busted 2 controllers, a ps3 and a mw3 disc. this is between october and the end of december

 

now i just play games that dont require a high kd ratio, but still pile up the points so I can prestige.

Your k/d is still above 2 maybe its unrealistic to think you can maintain that

i suck at tdm, so yes, there is no way to maintain that. I havent broken anything in 6 weeks to boot.

 

I broke eveything on the way to 2.00. my overall was a 1.85 but now its 1.6, but I gave up TDM. too slow, over too soon, too many campers and creepers

I will not rebuy Mw3, just as I never did with black ops.

There are less campers in TDM than any of the other games by far. The other poeple suck at TDM and they feel the only way they can get a good score is to camp at objective games

the ps3 was an accident. I lifted one end of it up a few inches and slammed it down a few times. it still worked, but was really slow and acted funny. this happened during black ops. I traded it in to my local gamespot for store credit.

Pretty much yeah, there have mods who just watch everything all day long, and delete posts when people cry about them.

A word of caution though...If you have any kids in the house at the time of playing, I strongly recommend you mute Swirve.

 

Also, no connection problems with any of us. All comcast cable hardwired.

Been playing Team defender a lot and just kicking ass. Run care package with hardline and usually get to call in 2 or 3 a game. Have been getting some fun stuff. Got my first AC-130, and assualt drone, a couple osprey gunners. Osprey gunner was close. I got killed when I threw the care package it seriously sat there for 30-45 seconds with the other team around it. They musy have all thought it was a explosives cause no one picked it up.
