sufaloofa 0 Posted July 5, 2012 My fantasy league has the following Roster Position Limits Min. Starters QB 1 RB 2 WR 2 TE 1 Flex(WR.TE,RB) 1 K 1 DST 1 Max on Roster QB 3 RB 7 WR 7 TE 3 Flex(WR.TE,RB) NA K 1 DST 1 Max Roster is 16 My question is what should my setup be? This is what I currently have. Starters per Team QB 1, RB 2, WR 2, TE 1, O-Flex 1, K 1, DST 1 Backups per Team QB 1, RB 2, WR 2, TE 1, K 1, DST 1 Thanks in advance. Mike MacGregor 20 Posted July 5, 2012 That looks almost perfect sufaloofa. Since you are only allowed to hold a maximum of 1 K and 1 DEF on your roster, I would drop those backups to zero each. That gives 15 total players based on your other inputs. To account for the last backup, I would add 0.5 to QB, 0.25 to RB and 0.25 to WR, so backups would then be: QB: 1.5, RB: 2.25, WR: 2.25, TE: 1, K: 0, DEF: 0 That should total 16 starters + backups. Also make sure to check off that RB, WR and TE are included in the flex using the check boxes just below the starters and backups.
TreyEleven 0 Posted August 9, 2012 Hey Mike I could use help with my setup as well plz. Just wanna make sure I did it right. My league has 9 starters 7 bench and 3 IR positions. 16 max roster. Minimum starters: QB - 1 RB - 2 WR - 2 TE - 1 Flex (RB,WR,TE) - 1 K - 1 DST - 1 We have a minimum roster requirement for each team where you MUST carry: 2 - QB's 3 - RB's 3 - WR's 2 - TE's 1 - K 1 - DST 4 - remaining roster positions are owners choice So I set up my staters per team as I stated above, and my backups per team as follows: 1 QB, 2.5 RB, 2.5 WR, 1 TE, 0 K, 0 DST. I did also check to include RB,WR,TE in the FLEX. Is that correct?? Thanks for any and all help!
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted August 9, 2012 That looks perfect. While a couple teams might draft a second K or Def, they really don't need to. I'd rather put more value to the other positions as you've done. Nice job.
unloopme 4 Posted August 26, 2012 Hi Guys, looking for some setup help to maximize the DB's potential. League 1 Start: QB - 1 RB - 1 WR - 1 TE - 1 FLEX - 3 (RB/WR/TE) K - 1 DEF - 1 Roster size = 14 (9 Start/5 Bench) NO MAX AT ANY POSITION. Current DB setup is: Starter: QB1, RB1, WR1, TE1, K1, FLX3, DEF1 Bench: QB1, RB1.5, WR1.5, TE1, K0, FLX0, DEF0 League 2 Start: QB - 1 RB - 2 WR - 2 TE - 1 FLEX - 1 (RB/WR) K - 1 DEF - 1 Roster size = 16 (9 Start/7 Bench) POSITION MAX: QB4, RB8, WR8, TE3, K3, DEF3 Current DB setup is: Starter: QB1, RB2, WR2, TE1, K1, FLX1, DEF1 <<< fixed Bench: QB1, RB2.5, WR2.5, TE1, K0, FLX0, DEF0 I of course have appropriate boxes ticked for flex positions. I appreciate any and all help, this is my first year using DB so I'm pretty psyched! Thanks

League 1 looks okay but I might change the backups to RB = 1.5, WR = 2, TE = 0.5, so as not to overrate TE too much. League 2 I think you copied the starters from League 1. Starters should be: QB = 1, RB = 2, WR = 2, TE = 1, O-Flex = 1, K = 1, DEF = 1 Then for the 7 backups I would go with: QB = 1, RB = 2.5, WR = 2.5, TE = 1 ... Yep, just what you have, that looks good.
