tbk420 3 Posted September 3, 2012 No matter how many mocks you do, there is no accounting for real life decisions made by your fellow owners. Anyway, I drafted in the #3 slot, in a 12 team non-PPR, 4 pt. passing TD league. I was expecting either Rice or McCoy, after Foster was off the board. Rodgers and Brady went 1 & 2 respectively, so here's what I ended up with: QB: Romo RB: Foster, Mathews, K. Smith, B. Tate WR: AJ Green, Harvin, Austin, Floyd TE: Pettigrew D: Green Bay K: Hartley I was glad to get the pairing of Mathews/Smith, on the theory that Smith will be starting for Detroit for the first few weeks, while Mathews heals the collar bone. Plus, gets the Rams in Week 1. I was stunned to get the WR that I did. Some head-scratching going on regarding the picks by people around me, but I was thrilled to snag Austin and Floyd in 10th and 11th. All in all, I'm satisfied. Sean McDermott 2 Posted September 3, 2012 Overall a solid team if players stay healthy. Kevin Smith is an injury risk. Mathews is hurt now and who know how he holds up over rest of season. Miles Austin is an injury risk and has hamstrings made of tissue paper. I hope your duo of Harvin/Austin work because they are two of my WR in my main money league too. I also have Greg Jennings to go with them. I think Harvin is being underrated with AP not 100%. I give this team a B and you will make the playoffs and depending on how healthy everyone is come playoff time will determine if you win or not.
ralphster 274 Posted September 3, 2012 You've got RBs made of glass tbk. Nice handcuff with Tate though. WRs are solid, Romo/Pettigrew have nice upside this year (though I worry about DAL o line). Should be a fun team for you this year. Good luck. mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=405696
