Started Roberts just to have a someone playing

Recommended Posts

I seem to do this for Sunday and Monday night games too.

I love having someone starting during these games.

Should have gone with Washington or Avery at WR3.

I did this with Cobb a few weeks go and bit me in the butt.

I am a Rams fan and it was very fun to have them winning while the Cards got so many pass plays, made the game more exiting for me.

It has not cost me a game this year, but if its a close decision I still might choose a national game.

I know its not great strategy but its worth it.

Me too. I have to stop doing that. I have been burned on every Thursday night game. The best was when I put in James Jones and he got me -1. So I thought I had a good matchup with Roberts and I only got 3 points, plenty of chances, but not much output. I was battling between him and Maclin as my #3 WR. Maclin has been hurt or non-productive. I just feel that tug to have something going on.

Just my two pennies

That was such a shite game between 2 shite teams I didn't watch 1 second of the game.

One of those shite teams already beat your shiter team.

But yeah, I'm guilty of the OP a little. Maybe it is the subconscious fear of having 30 points on your bench staring at you and laughing for three days? In my case, with Moore looking unlikely I had to choose between Roberts and Hawkins. Figured Roberts has gotten more targets, at least that's how I rationalized it. Also I'm a Cards fan, so the game was a bonus kick in the nads.

Add to that I had Amendola going in another league. Thankfully I avoided the carnage in my main money league.
