Mardi gras parades started last week and there will be some this weekend but the big ones start next weekend. We're right in the middle of Mardi Gras with the Super Bowl happening. The city is going to be crazy come Friday.

 

There's a party this Saturday at the Howlin Wolf hosted by CBS.. LL CoolJ is DJing it. A friend got us tickets and I might not be able to go.

I will make it happen even if it pisses ESPN or the NFL off and I need to buy stilts. Already made the sign. And the pitcher of bloody marys and margirittas to bribe the security guys that I know through a trusted friend that works the Aqurium of the Americas right next door to where they do the main taping are a done deal. They owe me a favor for hooking them up at the festival beer booth I run in Gretna for the KOC and getting them tickets to see Eddie Money, Blue Oyster Cult, Foreigner, Joe Cocker, Lynard Skynard, Grand Funk Railroad, and many others over the past few years. I basically get back stage passes to areas the networks have taken over. That skinny puss from Mike & Mike has already been heckled to the point of tatling to the boss.

 

Get this sh!t. My wifey works at Canal Place which is right next door to the Wyndam Hotel. Which is right in the middle of everything. She pays for a monthly pass to park for her work. The NFL and a few others have bought every parking spot available within a ten block area from Friday to Sunday and she has no place to park but she has to be at work on time or she gets written up. The city has also closed down just about every access to her work. That means I get to drive her and us to the ferry on the other side of the river that will take her to work and I get to run around the Quarter for three straight days untill I have to pick her up for work each day. Which means I get to walk around freely and have plenty of excuses as to why I spent so much money and am drunk as sh!t untill I pick her up! Me: I can't believe your company fawked you and your fellow employees like that. Mrs. Bunny: Do you mind bringing me to work? The Gulf Wing Jets that flew into the airport today are ridiculous. I just got a schedule of ESPN and the NFL's network scheduled programing for Saturday afternoon. It appears that ESPN has super security and the NFL network has none. Go figure. Brain injuries aren't on the dockett for this game as falling down drunks need no permission to participate in their reindeer bounty games. Fawkers. So I will be at both locations at the same time with my GFIAFP sign and FFToday one. I'll flip it over when the time is right. Cialis style. Since I am a doosh in the total equation of it all, what would you like to see on the other side of a white 3'x4' board? " I'm hitting the NFL guys first. Look for it.
