I think the impact of Shorts not playing is a little overblown. It's not like he was setting the league on fire this year. He's barely averaging 60 yards- even less than that in recent weeks. Far from the big-play threat he was a year ago.

TEN has allowed the 2nd most FF points to RBs this year, just a couple points per game below Dallas. An average of 23+ FFP/gm. They just gave up 34+ to AZ RBs.

 

He's very capable of breaking a long one too.

If MJD does not go, I start Todman over DJax in the flex spot in my .5 point PPR league - too good a matchup to pass up, especially when a guy will get 25 touches versus 7-8 targets. Todman would likely be good for 15 or more against that sieve of a defense.

No one seems to know locally. I think most are leaning towards MJD not playing, but knowing MJD and this being hid last game, it wouldn't surprise me.

But if U read the reports on Yahoo and CBS (Yahoo especially) MJD sounds like a longshot. I don't see what they have to gain by even starting MJD. He wont be with JAX nxt year anyways. Why not kick the tires on Todman some more?
