BTL99 34 Posted October 13, 2013 Guy is still good, but I don't think he will ever be what he once was.
cbfalcon 825 Posted October 13, 2013 I agree. I can't see him ever having back to back seasons that combine for 3,645 yards again. And I'm only 70/30 on him ever having more than 16 TDs in a season the rest of the way. Especially when you consider that at age 28, he probably only has another 6-8 seasons as a top WR. BTL99 34 Posted October 13, 2013 6-8 more years as a good WR yes....not at the level we are all use to though
uwmalcolm 74 Posted October 13, 2013 Guy is still good, but I don't think he will ever be what he once was. Yeah this current knee injury is obviously the beginning of the end for him. Can't argue with your logic. He probably retires in a couple of games.

Tell Greg Jennings and Andre Johnson that. What are they, like 30 now? And neither has been elite for years. Not saying that guarantees Megatron is done, but recent history shows us he could be in decline. Next year I am prioritizing Dez, Green, Marshall and Stephen Hill. heavy-set 39 Posted October 13, 2013 breaking jerry rice's record is prolly on the same level of a 2000 yard rushing season. you just cant expect that every year. isnt he less than 100% too?

handbanana 47 Posted October 14, 2013 A bunch of you guys are whiney byotches. Calvin isn't that good anymore? He's the key to the offense, when he is there, defenses pay so much attention to him that everyone else is constantly in a one-on-one situation. It's the reason why Reggie was brought in and why he has so much space to operate in. Reggie didn't have any space to work last week against Green Bay when Calvin was out. He's hurting and he's a gamer. When he gets healthy he is going to benefit from teams shifting coverage over to Bush. Hold your water ya skirts.
Fins81 0 Posted October 14, 2013 He should've just sat out another week. I wouldn't count him out just yet.

BTL99 34 Posted October 14, 2013 He sucks, dropping him, should retire, not good, etc I really hope this is a joke thread because you guys are idiots.... 2 good games out of 6 is not good. I don't see him finishing in the top 5 and possibly the top 10 WRs. Teams just double him and he can't do anything. Plus he has lost a step and he is hurt, so he isn't really a huge threat anymore. skinsrule05 30 Posted October 14, 2013 As long as he still runs a 40 in 4.4 he's the best. Why, how many fantasy points do you get for that? There is definite reasons to doubt him. In my league he is ranked 16 on ppg and 22nd in total points (without having his bye). That is very disappointing and not what I was hoping for taking him in the first round. I am exploring trades for him but have found it is impossible to get true value because of the injury and lack of production.
