:nono: Robb...I am NOT happy with you right now.

Here is hoping Lynch really does retire!!

Nice pick ray. I debated on Wayne and boldin last pick. Ultimately felt Wayne had a chance to be lucks top target while boldin does not with kaepernick.

Agree completely, Boldin is more likely to have a handful of decent games, and disappear for others depending on injuries etc, he is still a great target and fierce player, but on a team loaded with talent.

big fan of Charles Clay. Would have picked him if McFadden wasn't on the board. The dude failed me in the last 2 games of the playoffs last season, but can't hate too hard because he got me to the playoffs.

Heading out tonight and instructing (Tender/Tanker shuttle operations) most of the day tomorrow. I'll keep an eye on the progress and I'll send a list if necessary.

I am around, maybe limited. Will send a list to Fumble if it gets close and I won't be around.

Not drafting a TE at 11.01 was possibly the biggest mistake I've made in this draft so far. I had about 6 TEs on my draft list that I liked, and I ASSUMED that one of them was going to be there for me at 12.12. But NOPE. NO GO. Martellus Bennett, Zach Ertz, Heath Miller, Clay, Green, Ebron. All gone.

Almost out of candidates for my #2 TE. Bennett was my 8.......sniped, I actually had Ertz 13th until I landed Foles then started targeting him......sniped, I had Clay 11th.......sniped, I had simply decide to grab Laderius Green late since I figured he'd slide by (great potential stud if not for one thing still)..........sniped, so Walker is all I have left in my starters range at 12th. 60 catches for 600 yards and 6 td's last year. Wisenhunt likens his skill set to a TE he is very used to and will use him enough to hold serve with those figures. Big red zone target with dependable hands.

Dwayne Allen is a very intriguing pick for a 2 TE. He could really shine. I had him as a fallback guy like Laderius Green. I figured he would slide by unnoticed and be available at will since he only played one game last year and has competition. He has some major upside in my opinion.

I love Heath, but he has had rough fantasy TE luck. He is an incrdedible talent, but the line play has made him have to stay in and block for 3/4th of his carreer. He is definitely one of those guys whose success needs to be measured by worth to the Steelers and not to a fanasty team.

i see a few teams that i would not be comfortable with but I agree, no clear cut favorite.

i'd be lying if i said the associated no hassle league did not impact my drafting, especially late. In a normal league, there are some guys I might take shots on knowing i can dump them for a hot waiver pickup but having a set roster for the best ball format lends me to taking some safer picks. CJ Anderson for example. I normally don't handcuff but without being able to play the wire, what would happen if my top pick Montee Ball went down week 1? of course there is situation to it. If i had drafted 4 RB's in the first 6 rounds, I might not concern myself with taking a handcuff. With 4 starting guys, Id still be alright if 1 went down.

also in regular leagues I sometimes like to grab other owners "handcuffs" if I believe that guy might be poised to take over. not really worth doing here as it could easily be a wasted pick.

With the No Hassle league, I do tend to tend to be willing to spend more picks on high reward, inconsistent picks. My starting RBs are fairly steady, but QB and WRs, not so much. I'll take a 3-5 point week from my starter and hope another player goes off if I can get 20-25 points out of him the next week.

another aspect of the no hassle is bye weeks. in normal leagues, some people like to stack their byes and be "full strength" the rest of the weeks. As 1 Loss isn't going to kill you. But with a cumulative points format, taking a bunch of zeros for a week would put you far enough behind that you won't come back.

Drafting for the No Hassle league really takes away from the intent of the draft. I seriously draft like I would in any mock then realize I probably could have even done better if people weren't hawking points for the league.

i don't feel there are any no hassle elements that drastically alter my strategies, especially early on. it has more to do with which reserves i will select and how i manage my bye weeks. Im certainly not going to take a backup QB with the same by week as my starter, regardless of if a big value has fallen. I thought Romo was good value where I got him and would snap him up in any league but If Cutler had the same bye week, I would have had to pass in this format. Things like that.

considering ADP was followed almost to a T in the first 5 rounds, I don't think the no hassle alters the FFToday mock draft tool element of this exercise very much

I like him a lot. Despite the obvious connection with the competition and the Luck, Allen was and still is the TE1 on IND. He will share reps with the competition but not enough to prevent him from being a low end TE1, high end TE2 imo.

While the No Hassle aspect does give me a bit of a nudge, I don't think there's a single team that would be out of place in a normal league.

The competition got some needed help, and reps from the qb last year though. I think it was a fine pick, and a solid 2 TE prospect.

True. And still with all those reps and Allen's injury he still comes in as the TE1 so that says something to me.
