My guess is the pics of him that he's shared are him. And he is training in medicine. He's probably had some lady friends but it was entertaining and therapeutic (because life is too busy to actually have that life) to create whole narratives and run with them. Geeks are attention whores.

I'll admit, I am confused something about the whole situation feels a bit off. And by "off", I mean that none of the obvious scenarios feel totally accurate to me.

 

This all being nothing but a prank and Med laughing right now doesn't totally jive with me. A good prank has a big reveal.

• Either because the writer reveals all (think Usual Suspects with Chazz Palminteri seeing everything from Spacey's story in a matter of moments). This could have been done easily by Med.
• Or the prankster keeps upping the stakes until he is caught.

Sure, one could say that was all coming, but this has been going on for many months. It would have happened by now IMO.

 

I also can't see this all being an effort to look cool in front of internet friends. Everyone liked him. He has alot going for him. It just doesn't seem necessary. And the idea of his whole history here being made up seems unlikely as well. It's been what, 7 years? Nobody keeps a prank going that long. If I am wrong on that, then kudos kudos kudos.

 

What seems most likely is a that Med is who he says he is. Most of his stories were legit. At some point in The Closet, he decided to fake a story. The motive COULD have been my stories and the attention they received getting to him competitively, or it could have simply been a pure prank. Then I suspect he liked the attention and decided to keep trying to impress people.

 

Or....and if there is a GOD lets all pray to him now......A porn star got a hold of Med and milked him. Then she told some of her friends about an easy mark. And there is a line of porn stars queued up ready to do the same, only they didn't count on Med posting their pics online, and The Closet/Geeks being so into porn that they would all be found out.
