96.75 to 96.74

I hope you are joking.

So here's an analogy... We are mostly all guys here, and I'm sure you have all played Black Jack at you favorite casino.

Now, we don't need discuss bank rolls or who the big bettor is on these boards but on a $5 table the typical player will wager $5...$10... Maybe a green chip ($25).. $50... or even a cool $100.

Rarely, anyone bets $4... $12.50..$23... $72

Again, said TYPICAL player.

Round up, round down... But no need for these decimals and fractions. Keep it simple.

Who the heck wants their fantasy points rounded down?

I feel like I am on candid camera (like MTV's Punked for all you young one's you don't understand decimal points).

I know you seem to fear fractions and decimals, but the fact that you are giving 1 point for every 10 yards is in reality a decimal based scoring, you just chose to ignore the .1 through .9 part and only count the 1.0. Because 10 divided by 100 is 1.0 But if you take 9 yards divided by 100 it is 0.9. Not complicated at all. You are awarding your player .1 pts per yard as well as I am, it's just for some reason you don't feel the need to count 1 through 9 and make it somehow magical that the 10th yard deserves only deserves points.

You are not giving 10 points for 10 yards now are you? You are in fact applying a decimal/fractional based score however too afraid to truly implement it by simply giving credit for every yard gained.

i've won by .001 before

we play to 3 decimal places in my big money league

That's nothing: I won $25,000 in my big money league championship after my .0000000036 loss was changed to a .0000000009 win when I was credited with an extra return yard Wednesday morning.

Spent it all on Dos Equis and lingerie for my supermodel girlfriend.

I'm not calling bullshirt or anything on OP... but how do you get a .01 difference in scoring? Passing yards are going to be .04 (1 for 25) or .05 (1 for 20)... everything else should be in tenths.

So... what the fock?

Without going into too many details of all the players involved:

Team A: QB-M. Ryan 12pts (3-TD's) + 11.44pts (286 yds / 25) + .20 (rushing yds) = 23.64pts - The rest of the decimals added up to zero.

Team B: TE-J. Cook 11.25pts (75 rec yds * .15, we give an extra .5 for TE) + 4.90 (7 rec X .7pts) = 16.15pts - The rest of the decimals added up to zero.

So there you have it, Team A had the .74 and Team B had the .75! :)

Our TE scoring is kind of goofy with the .15/yds and the .7/rec, oh well.

We dont use decimals, in the event of a tie the entire bench is added up and whomever's bench scores more wins. Stupid IMO

Yep, we tried that once and when injuries decimate your bench (or bye weeks), you're screwed, no thanks.

I lost by 0.15 (101.30 - 101.15) this week to fall to 0-3 on the season. 90+ pts in my league is considered a great game. I've scored over 100 twice and 85 pts....can't catch a break fock.
