Name a famous movie that you've never seen and really have no desire to see

First Rocky is legitimately great.

Rocky 2 is inessential but a fine movie.

Rocky 3-5 get progressively worse. I enjoy 3-4 for the unintentional humor / 80s cheese aspect even though they are bad movies. 5 is unwatchable.

No real need to see Rocky Balboa but it was easily the best Rocky movie since 2.

I think the original Rocky is among the best movies of that era and well worth watching. I wouldn't call any if the rest essential by any stretch.

+1---didn't mean to imply they aren't enjoyable in my criticism, but man are they hokey.

first Rocky movie is a great movie, great characters, story. From a thematic stand point get progressively worse til the last one Balboa, just one cliche after another. Rocky IV is just mostly MTV music videos with some of the worst 80's music ever. The ending with what I'm sure Stallone thought was a real deep and meaningful commentary on the cold war, but is some of the corniest dialogue ever. Watch the first, skip the rest.

It's less about them being great movies and more just about the iconic status of them. 3 is my fav by the way, an awesome flick. It's just that I can't see how a straight American male can have these movies just pass by. Maybe it's me wrongly assuming all guys have to act the same way. But normal kids who played outside, watched tv and saw movies just had to have come across them at some point. Late night on tbs, USA, rented by dad, older brother, whatever. You just need to have had a real quirky, sheltered, odd life to not have iconic movies shown to you at least once.
