I'm not that familiar with her but she seems like the type who would have just been busy having a lot of fun as a teenager, not an advocacy oriented sort. Where she's been hypocritical or would have to willingly admit she did something she has publicly recognized - with herself in mind, as sin, is having premarital sex. Hollywood doesn't care for the most part about quality. Example: TED 2 and the Entourage movie. Proof positive they could care less. Sure, there are plenty of liberals in Hollywood, but there are plenty of Republicans on Wall Street and the banks. Which one do you think you should be more concerned with? Hollywood gets a ticket out of me once in a while. The other guys get thousands out of me every year. But easily lead right wingers care more about who's in a stupid movie or TV show. I think what rubs people the wrong way was how McCain / Palin trotted Bristol out as an example of high morals for deciding to have her first child as a minor. Of course if your parents are loaded it's possible to have a kid at 17 without wrecking your life but that would be the dumb thing to do for 99% of teenagers out there. The hypocrisy is all in the Christian right's pro life for wealthy teenagers stance. They seem less keen on it when the parents are low income kids who will rely on public welfare. Anyway the Palins are straight up low rent white trash and if they'd just go away everyone would forget about them. Bristol really has her mom to blame for turning her personal life into a circus.
