I attempted to take GB WR Davante Adams and it duplicated the previous selection.

So Adams wasnt shown taken and my roster had a WR already taken from a prior team.

 

Also how to address when a pick is skipped and one gets out of order.

 

can i do a name search in this app. after a while it is hard to find the obscure. especially if not on the depth for a position.

You can always go to the draft report tab and adjust the players / picks as necessary. Everything updates from there. Say a few picks get misaligned with the correct picks. You can highlight a group of player picks (highlight the position and the player name), and then copy and paste in the right spot. Use the drop downs or type in cells to change a pick that is already selected (but wrong).

 

To find a player you can use the drop-downs on the draft report tab. You can sort the name alphabetically. Or, you can find a player quickly by using Excel's find function. Short key is CTRL-F ... or CTRL-H. Can't remember for sure.
