boilerddd 62 Posted October 26, 2015 I may be wrong, but I believe Hardy was coming off field after Giants returned kick-off for TD. Dez met Hardy at the sideline with some "constructive" criticism of some sort. Hardy didn't seem to appreciate the coaching from a WR and they started to scream at each other. Hardy walked away and of course Dez followed behind. Teammates separated before anything physical happened. Story or issue only because of who was involved. FeelingMN 273 Posted October 26, 2015 Florio showed a clip on SNF of Hardy going focking apesh!t on the sideline after the KO return. Dude slapped a clipboard out of a coach's hand and had to be restrained by teammates. I think that's what Dez was confronting him about. Dude has issues. FebruarySun 1 Posted October 26, 2015 Why do they let Dez travel to these games. He's so dumb he's liable to kick someone with his bad foot in a case of look at me rage. I think we are seeing the maturation of Dez. It wasn't too long ago when Dez was a rookie and refused to carry the veterans pads as a part of hazing that every team does to rookies. Back then Dez was far from a team player but I think he has changed. Listening to his press conferences and watching his actions I don't think Dez is the same player he was in the past. jgcrawfish 232 Posted October 26, 2015 Hardy's actions this weekend were bigger than people realize. The confrontation with the coach, then Dez, then his demeanor at the presser afterwards. He's a good player but he's one more loss away from becoming locker room cancer, and I can't wait for it to happen. It SO what Jerry Jones deserves for even signing such a pathetic waste of oxygen of a human being like Hardy. “On May 13, 2014, Greg Hardy attacked me in his apartment. Hardy picked me up and threw me into the tile tub area in his bathroom. I have bruises from head to toe, including my head, neck, back, shoulders arms, legs, elbow and feet. Hardy pulled me from the tub by my hair, screaming at me that he was going to kill me, break my arms and other threats that I completely believe. He drug me across the bathroom and out into the bedroom. Hardy choked me with both hands around my throat while I was lying on the floor. Hardy picked me up over his head and threw me onto a couch covered in assault rifles and/or shotguns. I landed on those weapons. Hardy bragged that all of those assault rifles were loaded. Landing on those weapons bruised [my] neck and back. Hardy screamed for his “administrative assistant” (Sammy Curtis) to come into the room and hold me down. Curtis came into the room, grabbed me from behind and held me down. Hardy and Curtis then took me into the living room area. I wasn’t nearly strong or fast enough to escape. I begged them to let me go & I wouldn’t tell anyone what he did. They took me out into the hall, pushed me down & went back inside his apartment. I crawled to the elevator and ran into CMPD (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department) Ray Rice was absolutely DESTROYED in the media over his 2-hit attack on his wife (him hitting her, her hitting the floor) and NO team will touch him since. Hardy did INFINITELY worse stuff, paid her off and she disappeared and he's still playing.

Rice's biggest problem is that what he did was caught on video and then put on display for the public to see. I have no doubt that if Hardy's was captured on camera in the same manner he would also be out of the league.

cbfalcon 827 Posted October 26, 2015 In all my years of watching football, I've never seen a a player on the sidelines get angry and worked up like this. The Cowboys need to drop this guy now. He was yelling, there was shoving, and a clipboard got knocked away? Anyone that would take part in any of that is a ticking time bomb.. Jerry Jones needs to get his head out of his ass and do what the other 31 owners would do, and that is to immediately release anyone that acts like this. He does care if they win football games, but not as much as he cares about people talking about the Cowboys. There is NO bad press for Jerry, there is only buzz. The season is turning into a lost cause, but it's ok because he's got the potential trainwreck of Hardy for everybody to stay focused on.

This is just the beginning. I was listening to one of the national radio spots this morning on the way (Tiki and Tierney I think) and those guys both were saying it's just a matter of time before something really big happens involving Hardy...and more than likely involving a police blotter as well. Dude is human trash and doesn't deserve to get to play football, and at this point it would only be the Cowboys who would even employ him.

No denying Hardy is a high intensity, volatile dude - so it definitely would not be surprising to see him fly off the handle in a manner that isn't acceptable... But can we at least wait until he does before he's convicted for it? You also neglected to mention (in your article) that the accuser of said article admitted to being high on cocaine and alcohol the night she said she was attacked. Also, after the intense beating she supposedly took - showed no signs of having been physically beaten.

So domestic violence (in which the guy was convicted) is only a bad thing if the victim is completely sober and not asking for it. Got it.

You also left the part out that mentioned that in the state of N. Carolina the State has the authority to prosecute w/out the victim. Carolina the State has the authority to prosecute w/out the victim. The Mecklenburg County DA looked at the evidence and decided there wasn't enough to pursue charges based solely on Ms. Holder's claims. No, incorrect. He was convicted by a judge but due to a quirk in the NC laws, has the right to request a trial again, this time by jury. In between then the only witness, the victim, left on the night train with a sh-load of money in her pocket and since the defendant has the right to face his accuser, pretty much took away all justification for a case. If this happens in almost any other state, it goes to appeal and because evidence in the form of testimony would already be on file, it could be used with or without the witness. This is a freakin judicial do-over compliments of some back asswards law in the statutes that almost no other state has.
jgcrawfish 232 Posted October 26, 2015 So as an owner you would have kicked Michael Irvin, Dez Bryant and Charles Haley off your teams? Funny that all of those guys are all on the same team. Johnathan Dwyer had something similar happen and he was jettisoned so fast it was crazy. The difference? The talent of those players makes a rich but morally bankrupt owner look the other way.
