Most states go to a trial and jurors determine the guilt or innocence of an accused instead of 1 person... Hardy asked for his and granted that right... As far as only witness - there should of been physical evidence (photos, medical reports) of said attack to collaborate her claim. As you would suspect there would be if one was indeed beaten to hell by a 6'4" NFL lineman.
