Any thoughts on week 17 players?

How many people in this thing is the huge question.

In the beginning there were over 7000, now we are basically down to 3 people going for 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd, 4^th place is 58 points behind so there is a chance but with the average score of 125 they would have to have a huge week and 3^{rd (me)} would have to be really bad. I am in 3^rd and 4 points behind 2^nd. If I can overtake 2^nd it would be an extra $5,000,

Choose players from teams that still have something to play for. Steelers, Cards, Packers, Vikes, Jets, come to mind. Then look at individual player matchup.

At Qb I would lean toward Big Ben who has something to play for and has a good matchup with Cleveland

At Rb I would like D Williams for same reason and either D Johnson, Peterson or Hightower

At Wr Julio jones / A Brown / Hopkins / Beckham pick 2

At TE Gronk is safe bet

At K McManus at home - thin air and an offense that will struggle to score in redzone

At Def I like KC

 

I would load up with Steelers and play Ben, DWIII, and Antonio

Every player you listed except D Johnson is in a lineup or will be. D Johnson is not on the available list so I can't play him otherwise I would.

 

Thoughts on D Martin, and D Freeman?

 

To spread the love around in the 7 line up's I need to diversify, how do you feel about? Cooks, B Marsh or A Robinson, Any others?

Week 17:

Try to put an added emphasis on teams actually playing for something (ie: Bridgewater over Matt Ryan despite the matchup).

 

Injury reports are the most important in Week 17. You've already seen it begin this week. Dez, V-Jax, Alshon all are on IR now. Teams are not going to risk players that will be (or are likely to be) back next year. It's why I'd avoid even a guy like Lamar Miller.

 

Watch for guys that are in the race for individual awards. This means a guy like Doug Martin. The Bucs have vocally and publicly come out to say they want to try and get him the rushing title.
